~Third Person PoV~
Jerome paced around in small circles as he tried to understand what just happened. Mitch rolled out of the portal and strait over a cliff into lava and somehow survived? Not only that, but saved the lady who basically tossed him into the molten ocean!
"So, she did all of that...for fun?" Jerome asked, still dumbfounded at how they managed to live.
Mitch nodded. "She's an old...friend. The lady kills for fun and is a complete psychopath. Although from the what the white coats have said, she's immortal."
Ty pinched the bridge of his nose as he glanced down and released a heavy sigh. His life was already filled with weirdos, and the current situation with Seto and Sky...was not helping. Did he really need another lunatic that was considered immortal, did they forget she was apart of the facility?
Besides that crazy part, he faced another problem with his friends who were stuck with a demon. In the distance, he could see a strange light shine up like a beacon. It had to be Seto.
"Look, we're not throwing her back in the lava." Mitch exclaimed. "Maybe she can be of some use-"
"Hey guys, she's awake." Jason announced.
The woman with red hair sat up against the netherrack as she adjusted her glasses. "Hello, did Dr. Pepper disturb you young souls?"
"Is that a term for kids?" Jason asked as we stared dumbstruck at the lady.
She laughed. "I apologize for my weirdness, you see, whenever I get exhausted or he gets blood thirsty, Dr. Pepper comes out. Me seeing Mitchell must've triggered his instincts. Anyhow, I'm Bobette, Mitchell do you mind explaining?"
He nodded. "Bobette was apart of the second generation, she was lobotomized during her tests. Due to all the chemicals in her brain and lost of her entire self, she went crazy and Dr. Pepper was born out of all that madness."
"You could say I'm like Ssundee, you know the glasses thing and Derp Ssundee..." Bobette explained.
Jerome flipped over the script and leaned over to Ty. "Ssundee's not suppose to be mentioned until chapter 21 or so..."
Ty slapped the script out of his hand. "Stop breaking the fourth wall you stinking bacca!"
"Hey that's my line! Jerome you were suppose to whisper to me!" Mitch cried out loud.
"Stop getting your butt holes in a knot and get on with the scene before people rage at the destroyed wall they just rebuilt!" Jason shouted.
"Despite people from raging. Is Bobette going to be a danger to us- well Mitch mainly?" Ty asked aloud.
Bobette shook her head. "Don't worry after that near- death experience, I'm wide awake and well aware of my surroundings."
"We should get going before scientists decide to chase us in the Nether." Jerome suggested.
The group agreed and decided to head towards the light that disappeared mysteriously.
The Nether wasn't what the friends thought at all, none of them have ever actually stepped in but had heard of legends and folk tales. The old structure made it feel like you were in some sort of never ending box, with the lava floor and netherrack ceiling as the top and bottom of the inside. Strange zombie-like pigs roamed the wasteland but never posed as a threat. If only Mitch had actually gone to Mineology that week he was gone, he'd know more about the place. Not to mention the heat in the place, it felt worse than that desert biome people nicknamed the "Sahara Desert". Nevertheless, the group managed to get through the strange pathways and stood before the entrance of the Nether castle.
Lava boiled underneath the nether bricks as it stood proudly, yet menacing. No matter what, they had to save their friends.
"Okay, let's head in then-"
Jason grabbed Ty's wrist. "Are you insane? Herobrine's most likely there and Notch knows what he's done to Adam and Seto!"
Ty clenched his hand to his chest as he narrowed at Jason. "We can't live without taking risks, otherwise we'd all be dead by now." He turned and raced the castle as he walked down the bridge.
Mitch and Jerome glanced at Jason as they passed him and followed Ty. Bobette stood next to Jason though, and reassured him that everything would be alright.
"This is how I like to think of it, 'Tonight I will sleep in my own bed'. Keep your chin up space nerd." Bobette teased.
Jason smiled to himself as he caught up with the others.
--Time Skip--
Ty didn't know if he was going to die because of trying to save Sky from Herobrine, or the deadly heat in the Nether. The group explored the castles interior and exterior, besides the occasional Zombie pigman, nothing stood out to them.
Jason sat up against the Nether fence as he toke a breather, the heat was getting to him. As well as for the others but Mitch, he seemed neutral to the oven-like weather.
"How are you not sweating Mitch? It's burning up in here.." Jerome wined.
He shrugged. "I think because the scientists made me part Blaze, the heat doesn't bother me. Come to think of it, the reports said that some scientists who ventured out here died to the heat."
Ty's ears perked up when overheard the friends conversation. "Reports?"
Mitch nodded. "Yeah, before Dr. Pepper tossed us into the nether, I read some of the papers near the portal about journeys here. They mentioned only about one researcher returning, saying that the rest died to mobs or from the heat. One did say that there where reports about strange lights happening out here, not sure exactly where though."
The Ender hybrid scratched his head, so that meant Seto wasn't the only one causing those lights...then who was? Herobrine? But that would be stupid of him, he wouldn't carelessly point out his location-
"OMIGOSH THERE'S A GIANT FLYING FIREBREATHING MARSHMALLOW!" Bobette shouted.
"It's called a ghast!" Mitch corrected her.
Ty spun around and saw about three giant ghast about to shoot fireballs. "I should've stayed home." He muttered.
"Stop standing there and run!" Jerome yelled.
They followed him as he ran down the bridge that lead to the land, but from the complete opposite way from the portal. The friends ran into a cave with nether Quartz ore and netherrack and hid from the hostile mobs. Although they couldn't see the ghast, the mobs were still aggravated towards them.
"How in the nether are we suppose to kill those things?" Jason asked.
"I have no idea, but we'll just have to wait for them to fly away or whatever. We still need to find Seto and Sky." Ty stood up and walked further into the cave that soon lead to another opening. "I think this is the place."
The rest caught up with him. "Now this, this is a nether castle." Mitch commented. He motioned towards the castle with his arms outstretched.
The lava pools around them burned near their skin and the heat was nearly unbearable. Jason wiped some sweat off of his forehead and let out a pant.
"Now... Do you think they will let us in?"
