~3rd Person PoV~
Seto reappeared in the middle of a deserted street near the gas station and Town Hall, where was Sky? Although it was an hour or two past noon, gloomy clouds slowly moved in, and began to dim the sun. He called out for Sky and repeated his name over and over again while walking down the street. About the twentieth time Seto shouted, a blast of bricks shot towards him from the park, leaving a part of the brick wall missing. Glowing eyes illumined from the debris and smoke from source. Another toss of bricks flew at him, Seto threw up my hands and materialized a purple force shield.
'No..Stop! Please stop!' Sky yelled in the back of his head. Through his vision, blurry bricks were tossed at Seto and brought up a cloud of smoke. He could've sworn he saw Seto hit by them, but was relived once he saw the purple shield.
His Hero side cursed under his breath and tried taking down the sorcerer with another blast of bricks. Sky fought for control of his mind and slowly regained his senses, but his Hero half had another idea in mind.
"Sky please! You need to trust me and let me help you!" Seto pleaded.
"Why would anyone ever trust you, when you killed that girl with no mercy..yet you were in full control?" Skybrine spat.
Seto gasped and let his guard down, long enough for Skybrine to attack Seto with one final blow. Sky screamed Seto's name in his head and shot Skybrine into the back of his head, regaining his senses.
The two slowly made it to their feet, weak from the experience. Sky gave Seto a small smile then apologized for what he had said.
"It wasn't you..it's nothing really..don't worry about it." Seto responded.
Sky opened his mouth to ask what happened in his past but shut it, now wasn't the time. He helped Seto out of the rubble and noticed he wasn't just physically hurt, those heal..but mental scars don't.
They made it to Seto's home, using both of their powers to teleport.
"So what are you going to do, I mean..we can't get rid of our abilities with one simple spell." Sky pointed out.
"You're right, but we can temporarily block it. Basically, enchanting these with a power lock spell with cut off your abilities, thus preventing any fights breaking out in the middle of the night." Seto explained.
"Temporarily, what if it wears off?" Sky asked.
Seto bit his lip and sighed. "I'm not sure," He then held up the enchanted items then motioned Sky to give him his amulet. "Until then, this is the best solution." Be handed Sky his amulet back and smiled.
~Jason's PoV~
I released a sigh of relief once I saw Seto walk out the room with my gloves, surrounded by an unusual orange aura. Sky walked into the living room behind Seto and nearly scared me to death, since our first meeting didn't go so well but the sorcerer assured me it was safe.
He handed me my gloves and told me that no sudden outbreak of experimented instincts should burst, at least not for a while.
"Okay, I understand you can teleport..but did you have to teleport to my room?" An angry voice boomed out from the door at the end of the hall.
A guy with brown shaggy hair that covered his left eye, stumbled out of his room. He wore a plain white v-neck with black edges and grey pants, I could've sworn his eyes flashed purple though.
"We didn't want to startle Jason, plus we knew someone would have to wake you up sooner or later Ty." Sky explained.
"That and we didn't want to disturb Jerome and Mitch," He lowered his voice to a whisper. "Have you seen Jerome when you ruin a Merome moment?"
[He means them sleeping in the same bed, since they didn't in their old house. Not anything else...you dirty minded merome shippers. Lol]
"Merome..? Never mind, I don't want to know." I muttered.
"So who is this kid?" Mitch asked.
My eyes flashed white as a spark of anger boiled up in me, who was he calling kid? I clenched my fist and was grateful that Seto enchanted my gloves to prevent me from creating Wither bombs. I opened my mouth to say something but Seto stepped up.
"Mitch, you need to watch your anger. Jason is a Wither hybrid and can one shot you right here, right now." Seto explained.
"So he's like Ty and Sky? Two unstable experiments that can whip out there mob powers and kill us all.. Are you out of your f*cking mind Seto?" Mitch spat.
"Mitch, that's not what I mean. They have enchanted gear now that prevents them from using their abilities and-." Seto continued.
"I am not unstable." I stated, interrupting Seto.
Mitch went on about how he's sick of holding back from everyone they meet, just because their other hands are dangerous mobs. He continued saying that we should be able to control ourselves more, since he does every single day of his life.
"Whoa, let's calm down. Mitch, we've been with Ty for 10 years now and only once had he morphed into Enderlox." Jerome said, attempting to lower the anger building up in the room.
"You mean when we were arguing weather or not we could trust Seto? That was his fault of not being able to keep Enderlox back!" Mitch shouted.
"That's ENOUGH!" Seto yelled over everyone. "We are all, failed experiments and if we ever want a chance of a normal life, we have to stop ourselves from killing each other. That's why I enchanted Ty's headphones, Sky's amulet and Jason's gloves; to prevent them from having their dark sides from unleashing."
I keep my head down and stay quiet with the rest. They didn't know, I've heard of the failed experiments, but never was considered one since I was the last of the 5th generation.
The phone broke the silence and Sky answered it, muttered okay then hanged up.
"Two things: one, Jerome and Mitch have missed a week of school, unexcused and will be sent to trial if they don't return. And two, how did the school know where you guys are...if you're away from your house?" Sky asked.
