Chapter 8- Okay, let's not kill each other

[Earlier that day]

~Seto's PoV~

{Dream}

"Seto, hey you okay?"

I sighed and buried my head into my hands. Nothing was okay, how could anything be okay when you're trapped in the facility? I was surprised that Britney appeared normal today, especially what after what she's been through.

"Seto, you have to face everyday like a new beginning, regardless of what happened in the past." Britney said with a small smile.

"How can you? When you carry so much pain from the past, not being able to forgive yourself of your own sins?" I muttered.

"Seto, I know you regret every minute of being in that arena and killing all those boys to survive...but you have to forgive yourself."

I shuttered at the memory. The scientist had me thrown into an arena filled with nine other experimented boys, only one could come out alive. Little did the scientist know, I wasn't in full control of my powers. After I won the battle, they discovered I was uncontrollable and dangerous. They used me in arena battles when someone was to be executed, otherwise known as a Failed Experiment. It's funny how many I killed but can't even remember there faces, that and they consider me as one too.

"Seto, promise me one thing."

"Anything." I responded.

"Promise me, you'll never forget who I truly am. That you'll look past the chemicals those scientist put in me." Britney said as she grabbed my hand.

I nodded and pulled her into a hug, I couldn't lose control of my powers, not this time.

"Split mammals, it's time." The rough guard ordered.

He snagged Britney and yanked her out of the cell by her arm.

"Remember Seto, don't forget who I am!"

"I won't! Britney!"

I fell to my knees while clutching the bars of the cell, I felt so weak so powerless. The scientist always whipped me right before they sent me into the arena, to awaken my abilities.

The cell door squeaked open and the guard stood above me, the whip in his hand.

"No, this can't be real...please tell me this is a dream!" I screamed in my head. "Stop! Stop! Please....stop..."

"It's okay Seto, you fought as hard as you could...I forgive you.." Britney whispered. She coughed up more blood and forced a smile.

I took the sword in my hand and raised it over her. Then swung the blade down and decapitated Britney.

'How could she ever forgive...someone like me?'

{End of Dream}

I flickered my eyes open and stared at the ceiling, it was only a dream...more like a nightmare though. My forehead is drenched in sweat and I'm trying to catch my breath, it all felt so real. Sometimes I forget how to take control of my own dreams, though it occurs only when a more powerful force is near. Though, I've been able to overcome the powerful energy that Ty and Sky emanate...something's not right.

"Who's house am I in anyways?" I asked myself.

Last time I checked, I was passed out in front of the house that Ty, Mitch, Jerome and I shared. Now I stood in a new house with a different layout.

Down the hall where two more rooms, both with their doors shut, then exited into the living room. I walked past the doors and stepped into the dead silent living room where a sleeping Sky rested on the couch.

"Sky...Sky!" I whispered frantically while shaking his head.

He opened his eyes, panicked when he saw my face right in front of his and rolled off the couch, face planting onto the carpet. He grunted as he slowly raised himself off the ground.

"What? Is Enderlox back?" Sky questioned in a worried tone.

"No, I need you to do me a favor."

"A favor?" He asked, perplexed.

--Time skip to where Jason demanded an explanation from Seto--

~Still Seto's PoV~

"I know it's crazy and so sudden, but if we didn't find you now...the scientist would've. That and you're a Wither hybrid, if you accidentally ran into Sky, another fight could have broke out." I added after I explained everything.

"But you told me if I didn't go with you, he could've killed me. What's stopping him from following me and ending me here?" Jason asked.

"He just needs to calm down, plus he's on the other side of town, miles away." I answered.

"Wait, what did the scientist make you for?" I questioned, hopping I wasn't going to revive the answer that ran through my head.

"They said I was," he held up his hands for quotation marks, " 'programmed' to kill the Enderdragon, why?"

The color drained from my face, great now they'll be three guys in the same house trying to kill each other. I ran scenarios through my head, maybe a spell or a potion? I need to go to the enchanting room back at my house, but I don't even know which part of town we're in!

~Jason's PoV~

"You know what? Stay here, I need to find Sky. I have an idea and can I borrow your gloves?" Seto asked.

I glanced at my gloves that covered my symbols, wait why does he need them? I just met the guy!

"I just need to borrow them real quick." He snatched each glove from my hand and vanished. Seto reappeared with a pair of green headsets in his hands before leaving me. "Stay in this room and don't leave, wait until I get back or someone's going to end up dead."

"But what if-" He flashed out and left me on my own. I glanced down at my hands and stared at the markings on each palm, this was one of the things that had happened to me before the scientists kidnapped me.

A door creaked open down the hallway where two other doors remained shut and one slowly crept open. A guy with a bear hat and diamond axe pajamas exited the room and glanced at me. He whispered something as if he was taking to someone else in the room with him.

"I don't mean to be rude or anything, but who are you and why are you here?" He asked.

I tensed up and tried to act cool, hopefully this guy wasn't as crazy as the other guy I met. I covered my hands and hid my left eye with my hair, so he couldn't see any of my Wither features.

"Are you a friend of Sky's from school or something....?" He asked.

"Um..not really, Seto brought me here." I responded in a quiet tone.

Instantly, the last door at the end of the hallway opened. A flash of purple flickered from the inside.
