Chapter 11

Sean POV

I love go carting!

I can't believe that Andie does aswell!

Everything she does makes me like her even more.

I drive around the track and Andie is screaming lightly.

"You scared?" I shout over the engine and car sounds.

"No......maybe.....yeah a little....." she shouts getting quieter each time.

"Do you want me to stop?" I ask.

"No it's fine" Andie says back.

I slow the cart down and move over to the side so other people can go past us.

"Here" I say as I extend my arm out for her to hug me.

She slowly leans on me and I hold her tight with my free hand.

My other hand is driving the cart.

I start to speed up again and do another couple of laps.

While driving I look at Andie and I see her staring at me.

I look back at the track and I slow down again and stop at the start of the track where we have to stop.

We park the cart in the right spot and I release Andie and we both get out of the cart.

The guy who gave us the cart said bye to us.

We were about to walk out and we heard the receptionist say something.

We stop and turn back to her.

"What?" I ask.

"I said that you two are the cutest couple I've ever seen" she says.

"Oh um we are not a couple" Andie says and laughs a little while saying that.

"Well you should be....have a good day, bye" the lady says.

"Okay then um bye" I say while laughing a little because it's really awkward.

Andie and I walk out of the building in silence.

It's really awkward now.

We start walking towards Andies house again.

"So.....um what do you want to do now?" I ask Andie.

"Wanna go for a walk through the park, it's a quicker way to my house" Andie says.

"Yeah sure" I say and we both change directions to the park area.

We arrive at the park, still not talking to each other and Andie walk in front and sits at a bench that over looks a lake.

I sit next to her and we both look at the lake .

The sun is reflecting on the water.

It's really nice, I must admit.

"I write my songs here" Andie finally says.

She stands up and walks over to a nearby hollow tree and pulls out a notebook and a pen from the tree.

She walks back to the bench and says

" I keep this here because my brother will find it, and I don't want that" Andie says handing me the notebook.

"Have you shown anyone this before?" I ask.

"No.." Andie replies.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask while turning towards her.

"Yeah okay" she says.

"Why do you trust me so much, like why are you only showing me this stuff" I ask gesturing to the notebook with her songs in it.

"Well, um you've already seen my dancing, which is my biggest secret so I can show you stuff and-" she says and trails off.

"Anddddd" I say while stretching the 'and.'

"Anddddd I can't say" she says and looks away.

"Oh come on just tell me it's okay " I say.

"Ummm well let's just say that your the person who I want to dance with...... " She says eventually turning away.

She's silent for a while until...

"I really like you Sean...." She adds.
