Ashton's POV
Jen was holding my hand, all I wanted to do was take her in my arms and hold her and have her hold me. But, I was content with having her there holding my hand. The feeling her hand caused ran through me like electricity. I never wanted to let go, and nothing else in the whole world mattered as long as she was there with me.
But it was over all to quickly. Soon her parents wanted her out of the police station and took her back to their resort house. So I sat in the waiting room of the police station with my head in my hands. I couldn't sleep but I didn't want to be awake. All I could do was wait for something, anything to happen. The press all wanted photos and were standing outside trying to get a statement from me. The station was holding them back and if they got to close or rowdy they had reason to arrest, but so far none of them had been arrested.

"Mr. Booker, there is someone asking for you. She said you would want to talk to her." An officer said whilst shaking me awake from a light sleep.
"Ummm let her through I guess." I said back.
The officer nodded and went throught the door of the station, disappearing. A few minutes later, he came in with a woman who seemed vaguely familiar. I stood up and shook her hand, then sat back down in the cushioned seat that I had been sitting in since my family had gone missing the previous day.
She looked eerily like Jen. If Jen were older, they could be twins. The only thing that differed between them was their fashion choices. Jen only wore designer clothes and wouldn't dare step out of her house if she didn't look her best. This woman didn't seem to care.
She had long, blonde hair and looked the complete opposite in clothing to Jen. She wore an old t-shirt and faded blue jeans. Her shoes were ratty and torn, they had more holes in them than the socks at the bottom of my sock drawer do.
"Ashton Booker?" She asked. She even sounded like Jen. I nodded and she sat in the chair next to mine. She stared at the ground then pulled a note out of her pocket.
"Before I give this to you, I haven't read it. It showed up in my room today with insrtuctions of where you would be at and when to give it to you. I don't know who its from all I know is that the instructions were clear that if I didnt give it to you bad things would happen to me and my family." She said still watching the ground, then flicked her wrist toward me and handed me the note.I took it from her and held it in my lap, playing with the edges not wanting to open it yet.
She stood from her seat and didnt even glance back at me as she walked out of the station.
I looked at the typed name on the note. "Ashton Booker" I was scared to open it, knowing who it would be from. Finally I decided to just get it over with and open it.
Ashton,
Meet me at the dock down at the beach tonight at midnight. I'll be waiting. I need to talk to you. Please, you're the only person who hasn't lied or kept secrets from me so far. Well, you and my Aunt Nina.
~Jen
I looked at the time on the clock, it said 11:30. If I left now, I would make it right in time. I folded it back up and then realized that wasn't the only letter there. Removing Jen's letter I looked at typed letter as the color drained from my face.
Ashton,
I'm afraid it led to this. You messed with the wrong girl hon, and for that you WILL pay. I'm tired of dealing with her and you are the way to get to her. I swear, if you break it off with her or let her break whatever it is you have with her, I will come for you and then Jen. Poor Jen, with her dead sister. She's been through so much, ha, but what do I care? Anyways, the blood you see on the floor isnt enought to kill, but it is enough for the person to pass out. Your family is with me, and wouldnt it be sad to see the next person coming up dead be YOUR sister? Oh and she was easy to capture, she fought but she just didnt have enough strength did she? I bet she was so excited when your mom finally agreed to let her go to the beach for the first time. She wont make that mistake again. Wait a second, your sister is the one with the rare bone disease right? The one where her bones are like fragile glass and it doesnt take much to break those. Dont worry she isnt to hurt. Well, not as much as I would like. So, what do I want. That's for me to know and you to find out. We'll be in touch. And dont give this note to the police, I'm watching and if you hand it over, Jen and your sister will pay. That's all for now! Tootles!
This is the letter I left for him at his beach house. I hope this will do. I don't think he'll be leaving her anytime soon if he cares for his precious baby sister. Soon I'll have her back and F and A will be out of the picture leaving me all the money. To share with you of course. As soon as this Ashton kid and his family is falling into every trap we have left for them, everything will be perfect. It's all coming together. See you soon. -Nina
I pocketed the letters and ran out the door, heading towards the docks. Towards Jen. I had to warn her, I had to keep her safe.
A/N: I know it isnt very long. It's just been really hard lately to update. ive now been casted in the musical so its going to be even harder. I promise I'll try and make time to write! I havent forgotten you all!! :)
