A/N This chapter is dedicated imallurs. If it werent for her I dont think I would have been able to write this chapter! So here it goes! Warning that I do still have a slight case of writers block so this might not be that long or good haha:) OH! And the pic on the side is Grant/Liam Hemsworth Also Ayla Kell as Jen!! I'm starting to cast my story! Still looking for a Liz and all of them:)
We spent the rest of the night together. When she left she kissed me on the cheek and told me that we would go shopping tomorrow. I changed into my pajamas and flicked on my tv. The news was on.
"The shocking story of a teenage girls death. The young girl was found murdered in these apartments. Authorities are not giving us much information, but we do know they are releasing that the investagation is ongoing. Also, the girls name is Elizabeth. Her older sister was released from the hospital today. We do not know why her older sister was in the hospital. That is all for now. More information coming later. Back to you Henry."
Leave it to me to find the one station I didnt want to see. How in the world did they know I was in the hospital in the first place!? Well, if I wasnt going to get any sleep before I definatly wasnt getting any now. I was definatly going to need the shopping therapy tomorrow.
I changed the channel to MTV. My favorite show was on but I wasnt really watching it. My mind was everywhere but there. Once the late night marathon was over I turned the tv off and grabbed my laptop. When I opened the internet, the latest news of Liz's death was there. I couldnt read it and I didnt want to.
I went to facebook, I had more than 50 notifications. People were all over my facebook page asking how I was, how I was holding up, how my family was holding up, some of them were less sympathetic and they just wanted to know the details of what happened. I didnt answer any of them. I closed my laptop. That was not a good idea.
I still couldnt sleep and I was hungry. I walked down the steps of the hallway and right before I got to the kitchen I heard whispering and saw the light was on. I moved a little closer and listened as hard as I could.
"I know Franklin! I know both of the things you just told me but I DO NOT CARE!" my mom said raising her voice at the end.
"Ashley, keep it down. We do not want Jen to come down. You taking her out is not as much a problem as Nina." My dad said back. Who is Nina?
"Franklin, I am tired of this conversation. Nina is not going to be a problem. I promise. She's my sister for God's sake! She wants to be here for me! I know you two have not gotten along in the past, but I need her and I believe Jen needs her too." My mom snapped.
My mom always denied having any siblings. She hadnt really kept in touch with her family when my dad and her got married. The few times I got her to speak even a few words about her family it was just about her mother and father. They were good people. My mom looked like her mother. That meant that I looked like my grandmother, because I looked like my mom. Anytime I had asked her about if she had any brothers or sisters she denied it quickly and changed the subject. After a while I just stopped asking. I didnt have an aunt so what was she talking about?
"It is not just that I do not get along with her, I cant stand being in her presence! She only brings trouble! She gave me one of the most wonderful things ever but even that cant help our relationship. I do not want her in my home. I do not want her in our home!" My dad snapped back.
"Whatever Franklin, I'm going to bed!" I took this as my cue to go back to the stairs and pretend I was just coming down.
"Jen, what are you doing? You should be sleeping honey. Do you need something?" My mom said as she stepped out of the kitchen.
"I was hungry. Plus I needed to get out of that room. I cant sleep. Everywhere I look Liz is there. I tried tv. She was there. My computer. She was there. I need to get my mind off her. What better way than a midnight snack?" I asked my mom with a sad smile on my lips.
"Ok honey, come on we'll find you something." She took my hand and led me into the kitchen. She fixed me a bowl of my favorite cereal and sat opposite me. I dug into my cereal and started chewing. She layed her hand over mine when I was almost finished with my cereal.
"Jen, I need to tell you something. Then I have to ask you a question. Ok?" She said to me. I nodded. "I have a sister honey. I know all these years I told you that I was an only child. But I do have one sister. Im so sorry I lied. I just dont have a good relationship with her." I opened my mouth then nodded taking it all in and signaling her to keep going. "My question is, would you mind if she came to stay with us for a while? It wouldnt be forever but I dont know when she would leave." She kept rambling but I didnt listen. In the middle of one of her sentences I lifted my hand signaling her to stop. She stopped almost immediatly.
"Mom, I dont mind. I'd love to meet her! When is she coming?" I asked her
"Well, tomorrow." She said
Im going to meet my long lost aunt tomorrow. Talk about stress. My little sister has been murdered, my boyfriends car was there when we found her, and now theres some aunt that I'm going to meet. Yay.
A/N: So I hope this is ok for now. After writing this I have so many ideas! It just kinda came to me while I was writing! Im so excited to write the next chapter! Its summer break and I have nothing planned so I'll prob be updating a lot. I think my writers block has been lifted!!! lol I hope this was good and there is prob a lot of mistakes yippy for editing! NOT:) until next time -Emily xx
