Rehearsals

"Who is it professor?"

"Draco malfoy!"

"Draco?" I asked

"Mh-hm" said macgonagal

"Draco can......SING? chessy said

"That's what I said to mcgonagal!"

"Well well isnt this a surprise now" hermione said laughing.

"I really am getting a lot of surprises today" I whispered to myself

"What?"

"What? Nothing!"

"When's your first rehearsal?"

"The day after tomorrow, after classes"

"Oh, well then I think the list of the selected students will be up by tomorrow"

"Anyways, Nicky which parts will you be in?"

"Isn't it obvious, she will be in all of them" hermione explained to chessy "Mcgonagal said the main lead singer."

"All of them?!" chessy exclaimed "How are you going to manage that"

I sighed "I dont know, I guess I'll just go with the flow. Mcgonagal said I will be performing in the trio but the male singer wont"

Suddenly we heard chattering and students were huddled up in the great hall. We went there to see what was going on and heard a 5th year shout

"Its here! The list! I am so going to be here" to her disappointed she wasn't

"Ches, mione go check it!"

They both looked at me nervously. Then went to check it. They both came back with disappointed faces

"What? There's no way in this fucking world they rejected you" I said 

"Um, nick," mione began

"What? Hurry up i do-"

"WE ARE ALL IN THE TRIO" mione and chessy said together.

"What? WHAT? IF YOU TWO ARE JOK-"

"We are not" ches said

"WEEEEEEEEEEE" I said and hugged them.

We all returned to our classes and by 4 we were in the great hall for rehearsals. There were nervous glances. Mcgonagal entered and said 

"Now, you all must know that you are here to practice and only practice! There are some rules if you want to stay here you must follow, 1. Nothing should go on in here except for you rehearsing your songs. 2. No kissing! If I find anyone making out, they will be on their way to the headmaster's office, 3. No good luck potions or charms will be allowed as per the ministry's orders. Now, everyone please show me what you have ready. Lets start with the solo. Nicole please"

I waved my wand and the instruments started playing themselves.

I saw kids staring at me in awe, but not only kids in  the rehearsal, but the kids who weren't in the competition too, including mattheo. No one knew, who this song was dedicated to, it was for mattheo. I could only think about him when I sang this song. We made eye contact but I looked away.

"Now, I do need you to make some improvements, but we'll talk it out later. Anyways, you three" she pointed at me, chessy and hermione. "Have you prepared something yet?" 

"We have professor, shall we?" mione asked

"Oh yes, please"
