"it's mutual. She said she didn'T hate It so its mutual right?"

"what's wrong with him?" Seungmin asked as he entered the study, eyes trailing on papers and pens scattered across the floor before leading to his best friend who was lying on table, hands over his face as he continued to mumble to himself.

"he's been this way since this morning"

"CORRECTION CHAN!" Hyunjin suddenly screams, shooting up before immediately lying back down again and curling himself into a ball. "I've been this way since last night cause it's fucking mutual" He trailed off to himself.

Seungmin pauses, turning to Chan and before his eyes meet with Felix who was by the entrance of the room. Seungmin arched a brow at the knight who wasn't you.

Slowly, he speaks "And may I know why you've been this way?" Seungmin says tentatively.

Hyunjin is silent for a few seconds. Then he sits up, crossed legged on the desk before turning to face his friend.

"Cause she... I.. So we almost kissed... And... no wait- I did her eventually- bUT NOT ON THE LIPS AND-" The stuttering mess that was once Hyunjin suddenly cut himself when his friend and tutor's eyes went wide at the second to the last statement. "-okay okay slow down a little Hyunjin. Breathe for fuck's sake" Chan interrupts, hands out and motioning for the boy to calm down as if training an animal.

 And Hyunjin listens before continuing.

"So I gave y/n a necklace, and while she was looking at it, I stepped closer, then we she looked up our lips touched and I stepped back and ended up mumbling that she must have not liked it since she's my knight and all that crap that she usually says" Then Hyunjin pauses once again, as if still in disbelief about yesterday's events and what he's about to say.

"but she caught me off guard and suddenly said she didn't hate it. Seungmin, i wasn't even thinking of it that way but she brought it up so... It must be mutual tight? "

"Weren't you just hearing things?" the mentioned asked with a look of disbelief as he never imagined those words to leave your lips.

"She was so embarrassed after which makes me believe I wasn't going insane".

"Wait so let's say that did happen, what do you mean that you kissed her after?" Chan says, not letting Hyunjin's slip up slide.

"Well I- I just got so caught up in the moment and gave her a peck on the forehead. God! I just want to run over to my mom right now and tell her to start planning the wedding" Hyunjin says with an exasperated sigh before lying back down again. 

"Can't you?"

Hyunjin turns to the side to glare at his friend.

"If I could, don't you think i would've the second she said she liked me"

"Correction: the second she said she didn't hate your interaction"

"The details aren't important Chan!" Hyunjin brushes off

"Technically they are. And Seungmin you know as well as I do that it'd cause too much of a fuss. Moreover if this idiot did anything without telling y/n first, she'd go into panic then be pissed from all of the rumors.

Seungmin and Felix silently nod along.

"So it's not officially mutual but its implied? So Hyunjin's freaking out?"

Hyunjin throws his shoe at Seungmin.

"Look, this may not mean much to you but this is the first time in our whole lives that I think she's showed interest in me. Even if it isn't much its precious okay so shut up and let me be happy for a bit" He says as he gets up to pick up the shoe before heading to his actual seat.
