"Knock knock" You and Felix hear a raspy voice along with knocking on the door of your chambers. It was currently five in the morning and you and Felix were just about to start getting ready when Changbin suddenly walks in the room.

"Prince Jihoon is coming later this afternoon and requested you to assist him" He says, pointing at you. "Which means that you-" He said, pointing at Felix this time. "-are guarding Hyunjin for a day"

"What?! Why are you just telling me this now?" You suddenly ask. "And why me?"

"Because I only found out seconds ago and I have no idea... but y/n, keep your guard up. There are rumors about that prince" Changbin ends, shifting from being a knight to a brotherly figure.

"It's an honour to have you personally come here for business" Hyunjin's mother says with a welcoming smile as the prince enter the thrown room. You simply bowed upon seeing Jihoon. His family is in charge of supplying produce for all the kingdoms. The prince was tasked to stay a night to talk about the next market trade and stock prices.

"It's nothing your highness" He says with a warm smile. And if it wasn't for the rumors about him, you'd actually think he's cute. "To become a better prince, I want to experience some hands on training when it comes to business deals and all"

"That's wonderful! How I wish my son would do the same" The queen jokes, laughter filling the room. "Well mother if that's what you want then all you have to do is say so. Hello Prince Jihoon"

The laughter dies down when you all see Hyunjin walking towards you three as he stopped in front of the other prince. "Wouldn't it be rude if I didn't greet our wonderful guest?" He says and anyone can tell how fake Hyunjin's smile is.

Hyunjin reaches his hand out of the other prince and when they shake hands, hegrips Jihoon's hand really tight, leaning in and whispering in a threatening tone "You lay a finger on her and the next time I see you, I will pull out your finger nails one by one and ban you from entering this kingdom ever again. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal" Jihoon says with a smirk.
Then, they both let go.

And despite how much Hyunjin hated the idea of it all, he watched as you escorted Jihoon out of the thrown room to head out to the market.

The day ended with everything being okay. Jihoon was actually pretty decent which shocked you. That and you got to see his good and responsible side. He was completely professional to everyone who he transacted with and to you as well, minus the occasional pick up lines. But all in all, the day ended well.

Jihoon had asked that you dine with him for supper as a way of saying thanks for accompanying him throughout. He raised a glass to a successful day and after the cheers, when you took a sip of your drink, your brows furrowed.

It tasted off.

You chose to ignore it for the mean time but told yourself that you wouldn't drink from the glass anymore.

After dinner, you brought Jihoon to his room and right before he entered, he gestured for you to step close.

"What is it?" You ask as you both stood in between the door.

"I'd just like to thank you for today" He says with a small smile. Maybe it was because of the fact that you felt a little dizzy, but for some reason, his smile seemed a bit twisted.
