I sobbed into Matt's chest. He just held me close.
After a while I pulled it together and started walking. We were only about 10 miles from San Fransisco and that wasn't a lot compared to the 45 miles that we have jogged/walked/ran. I was excited to not be on the run. By tomorrow we would be in a nice hotel in San Fransisco. I'd be sipping some fruity juice and matt would be right next to me.
Together.
The word echoed through my head. Me and Matt. Matt and I. Together.
I smiled to myself and grabbed hold of Matt's hand.
We walked. Together. Towards our new life.
Together...
