Tears welled up his eyes as he looked at Outer. He had truly believed that he could trust Outer that he had a friend, but here he was looking at Error with pure disgust. Error had told Outer about one weakness he had. The entire AU they were in was built on that one weakness."You really thought that someone wanted to be friends with a murderer? Error you are delusional not only for the reason you think is behind you destroying, but also believing anyone will ever care for you," outer said. Error bite down and hid his emotions. He had believed it, he had believed he could trust someone. He should have gotten the message across when Nightmare's gang betrayed him, when Blue got him into a trap, or when his own brothers tried to kill him. He fought back, but he got caught. He sat in his cell being kept weak by a very special item that was so rare it would be near impossible to find. It was a special Flower from Flowerfel that only came right before Frisk died on her body. It only ever came once per true reset. Error sat there being empty and cold. his soul had lost its glow as he lost his hope. It slowed his magic production. It didn't help that people were beating him daily, Insulting him, and doing their best to make him rot. He sat there quietly listening to their insults and feeling their pain, but he didn't care. He stopped caring both about himself and the multiverse when Outer betrayed him. When fate tried to move him like a puppet again. He didn't fight it. Not when Ink placed him back in his cell. Not when they decided to seal him away for good. Not when he was poisoned so he couldn't move. Not when they placed his limb body on almost hardened concrete. Not when they poured more over him completely sealing him away. He didn't care, he didn't feel. He did nothing. Error was just numb. When the multiverse started to crumble and they realized he wasn't delusional but told them the truth, they freed him. He was carved out slowly and carefully. They looked at his body as they saw the things they had done to him and were horrified. They freed every single bone from his prison and tried to speak with him, but they got no response. His soul was stone-cold not only from the last layer of concrete no one dared to remove but also from the betrayal. They begged him saying 'Error, we are so sorry we didn't believe you,' ' Please, we didn't know,' He didn't care. They didn't even know if he could hear or see them as concrete was toxic to a normal body. He never moved just looking up. He heard them beg, and when outer came to apologize he just couldn't anymore. he couldn't keep on take their apology because if they were truly sorry they would never have broken him to the point they did. 'You all are delusional for thinking that the multiverse is actually collapsing it was nothing more than my mind playing tricks. Why else would I be sealed in concrete? Why else would I be broken time after time? Why else would Ink not know about the balance?' Error had told them they knew there was nothing left. Outer had cried and tried to tell him that they finally believed. The only thing that broke them more was his response. 'Nightmare and his gang betrayed me. Blue lead me to a trap. My brother's tried to kill me and the one person who spend a full decade trying to gain my trust... Well, you all know what he did,' Error didn't care that Fate made her strings visible and forced him to be a puppet to be controlled. He was left in the anti-void after alone and cold as he had been for the majority of his life. The only difference is that he no longer longed for warmth and acceptance as he knew it wasn't coming. Dream had found him with the help of his brother. Everyone had made a truce after the discovery of multiverse space. Error was picked up by one of his betrayers. He was brought to nightmare's tentacles as he was actually warmer than Dream. The goop made sure of that. Error felt the warmth but pulled away knowing that as soon as he got used to it. It would be painfully ripped from him. He tried, but Nightmare forced the skeleton closer. Error gave up, but he didn't give in to the comfort. He was taken back to the council and was placed on a bed. He just looked up at the ceiling not bothering to move. It was funny all his life he longed for warmth and now he had it. He didn't want it. Sci had entered his room looking at him pity filled his every bone but he had a task to accomplish. He took Error's soul and placed it over the sink in the bathroom that was connected to the bedroom Error stayed in. He poured a strange liquid over the fragile and mangled soul. It melted the concrete. He looked at the soul that seemed to be growing a bit when it was freed from its prison. He sighed before placing it in a small container making sure it would be stable. Going back to the body he strapped the container to the inside of Error's ribcage and looked at the saddening sight in front of him. he had to leave as he didn't wanna cry in front of a person who deserved to let out emotions. Nothing ever changed from then on. after all, a broken heart can't be healed by the people who broke it.
