The council looked at the sad excuse of a destroyer which they had previously been fighting for so fucking long. He was laying on the floor of his cell completely broken. The last Eon had been used to find a way how to kill the destroyer. He had been sentenced to death but so far none of their attempts had yielded a result. At least not the result they wanted. Error was basically an empty husk now. Of course, there were times when he escaped but he never stopped destroying no matter what they did to him. Looking at him and you may mistake him for a fake corpse. He lay unmoving and without producing magic but fate just couldn't let him die. No crime had turned out to be too low for any of the councilmembers as long as error was the one getting hurt. Nothing was beneath them. The result was heartbreaking. Error was constantly wounded as his body could no longer heal. He had multiple infections in his body. He couldn't see nor hear but only one was because of the council. They had permanently blinded him. He had been broken so badly that the hopes and dreams of his soul had disappeared and he had stopped producing magic the consequence was the loss of all the senses but touch. He could feel everything that was done to him but couldn't do anything about it. It was a sad sight to those who saw it for the first time. The council was still searching for a way to kill him but it had been too long since an au was last destroyed and the multiverse started to slowly collapse. at first, they blamed error but quickly realized that it would have been impossible for him to do so. Sci and all the scientists Au's were working hard to find out what was going on and that is when they found out about the multiversal space. They all realized that what error had yelled at them for his reason to destroy had been the truth and the guilt overwhelmed so many of them. They got sci to make a device that could destroy AU's. I pained them when they had to do it but they realized that they now knew what error felt when he destroyed. they made a belt with no AU's and allowed for the au's already in the collapse zone to die. They couldn't save them and they knew. once that part of the multiverse had been cleared up the remaining AUs moved so they were evenly spaced out. They only had one problem left. What would they do with error? They wanted to give him the ultimate mercy but nothing had worked so they decided to make one heaven for him. Ink took an unfinished AU and made it into a heaven for the destroyer. Half of the council helped him with the detail while the other half worked on actually healing error. They had to do it without using magic because the second he absorbed magic would he scream out in agony. The screams were haunting and raw they believed that him getting his magic back meant that he could feel the pain which no painkiller would be strong enough to neutralize. They believed that if he didn't have magic in him then he couldn't feel but that was far from true he simply couldn't express that he was in pain and everyone capable of sensing emotions knew. It took a full year for the AU of which error would live to be finished. The au itself was harmless. it was impossible to get hut in there. The water was breathable the ground would soften upon sudden impact but not if one was just walking. The animals were friendly and lived in a symbiotic relationship with the inhabitants of the AU. The lava in the AU's version of hotland created a kind of gas that made people float and the snow in snowdin wasn't cold at all. The inhabitants were kind and had an urge to protect and care for another being but they would only get satisfaction from caring for someone if that someone needed the care. All the inhabitants were cute and cuddly versions of the monster in different AUs. They weren't exactly based on undertale. The day came for them to give Error to the AU. The inhabitants took one look at him and ripped him from Ink's hands. They could sense how much pain he was in how broken he was and how badly he needed love. They instantly grew very possessive of him and kicked out any council member of the AU. The next thing the inhabitants did was strip him and what they saw saddened them greatly. He had countless wounds and a lot of them were infected. Medic had tried but he couldn't get it all out. The skeletons of the AU a married couple took him to a lake filled with fish and submerged him. The fish ate the infection both outside the wounds and the smallest inside the wound. The inside of his bone was cleaned just as well as the outside and slowly they could see what they were dealing with. His body had more chips and scars than what they could ever have imagined. They took him out as the fish started to swim away from him. The skeleton was so much lighter and thinner. He looked scrawny and frail but they knew he was alive. they dressed him in soft pajamas after they had wrapped his wounds and placed him on the belly of one of the monsters. It was a bunny monster who honestly looked like a big fluffy pillow. The bunny made sure to keep the smaller warm and calm as they sensed the skeleton in their care fall asleep. They all got a new but strong feeling and urge to take care of him. The urge was so strong that they were willing to kill anyone who got too close to him. They just had to find out how to murder someone in their AU. A few days had passed and they had been taking care of error while he slept. He had been so peaceful and had managed to feel the love they showered him in. The different bunny monsters that he slept on were good at giving him cuddles and the other animals in the AU snuggled up to him bringing him comfort. Overall error felt loved. He woke after a week on an actual oversized pillow with all sorts of animals cuddling up to him. He couldn't move but he could hear someone humming. It was a soft tune that comforted him. It was one of the skeletons she knew he was awake but wanted him to first get used to the noises around him before she would introduce herself. She smiled once she noticed him relaxing into the animals that snuggled up to him.

"It's nice to see you awake. My name is Laila," She introduced herself. The skeleton tried to curl up almost fearing what she would do but the animals snuggled closer to him. She sat by him and tried to speak with him but he passed out due to fear. This broke her and she went to the AU's gaster who quickly found a solution. However, they didn't know if it was the best solution but it would be the most effective one. They erased all of Error's memories and got him used to their touch while that happened. When he woke up once again, he was not afraid of Laila or her husband. He longed for their touch as it was one of the things he recognized as familiar. They took care of him as if he was a newborn. He couldn't really move nor give any real response but the animals around him could always sense what was happening to him. Years passed and he was running to the undyne of the AU carrying an empty basket. Error wore a big hoodie and shorts under them that could barely be seen. He didn't have shoes but no one really cared as he didn't have a reason to wear them. He smiled happily and used echolocation to navigate the AU. He made it up to her and undyne patted his head as she took the basket.

"Good job kid," Undyne said. Error couldn't see it but she was smiling. They were going to gather materials for possible weapons. Error smiled proudly. He was so happy that he could be helpful. Undyne smiled down at him and picked him up. She placed him on her back and made sure he held on. Then she launched herself up into the air and outside of the actual perimeter of the AU. It was a glitch that the inhabitant found that let them gather material, not from the AU. They reached the corner and error used his stings to open the coding letting both of them pass into a black area and see multiple objects. A lot of bones and knives but also a few candies and food items. Error had even found his favorite kind of chocolate. They all gathered it all into the basket before turning to the wall of the AU and walking straight through it. They walked in and undyne quickly found that they had plenty of items to make traps out of now. They made sure that the traps couldn't be seen by anyone but those who knew that they were there. It was to protect their little sweetheart because they knew that whoever had harmed him was still out there somewhere. And they would probably return to finish the job one day. Error ran to the forest in the AU. It was actually new home. The Asgore of the AU had invited Error to lunch together with his new and adopted mother and father. Undyne just smiled as she saw the small skeleton running off. She would have offered to carry him if she knew where he was going. Laila and her husband smiled one they saw Error running to them. They were just outside of the forest.

"Let me carry you Amil," Error's father said. Error just put up his hands happily as he was placed on his father's shoulders. They walked in and saw asgore and Toriel waiting for them. A picnic table had been set up and Asriel was impatiently waiting together with Chara. Error was placed at the table as his parents took the seats beside him. They started eating and his parents helped their blind child whenever he would spill. Error was happy and would continue to be happy as long as the council didn't enter the AU.
