Rune was asleep covered in small rabbits. Gaster sat by life both of them looking at the adorable scene. The rabbits had mated and well Rune loved the baby animals. Life had proven a long while ago that she would protect both of them. Reaper had been aggressive once he found out about them that the only thing that kept him from hurting Rune and his dad was Life standing in front of them. Rune cuddled into the loving fluff pile making the others smile softly. "There is a festival in a few weeks. I think it would be a good idea for the two of you to attend," Life said. Gaster looked at her."What is the festival for?" Gaster asked."The deities," Life said. Gaster looked at his sleeping son and smiled softly."If he is okay with it then we will attend," Gaster said. His son got to decide a bit more than he probably should. A baby rabbit crawled up on Rune's face making him sneeze until he woke. He moved the rabbit and gently hugged the little being. He sat up making the rabbits that were on his check and spine tumble down. Rune looked at the rabbits that tumbled down and brought them all up to his chest. Gaster just smiled the scene was cute. Gaster got up and walked over to his son. Life just smiled as they talked. The little one has been through so much that Karma gave him permanent protection such a young being but so much pain. Rune smiled brightly as he was told the news and was clearly excited about the festival. Running to his room he wanted to see if he had seethrough material that would cover the Deity mark. The day came and the pair went to the festival. Error's eyes were covered by a long piece of silk. He didn't want to attract attention. Life smiled as she walked up to them. Gaster greeted her and so did Rune. This was the first festival Life was joining in years shocking the other gods. Life walked with them enjoying the festival and making sure that no one would start trouble. Asgore saw his ex-wife smiling near a child that had been abused to no end. The kid was seemingly blind. Asgore walked over to them. He greeted the child and the father before Greting his ex-wife."What is your name?" He asked the child."Rune," He almost proudly said. Asgore smiled seeing the child being happy and comfortable with his parent around. He could tell that Rune was happy and comfortable despite his scarred appearance. "Something wrong Asgore?" Life asked her tone bitter. "Nothing Life. Just happy you finally left your hiding spot," Asgore said. Rune noticed that he could see the karma and relationship between the two. He looked at Life."Miss life?" He asked softly. Life turned to him with a smile."What is it?" She asked softly. Rune said something that shocked everyone within earshot."How do you know about her?" Life asked. Rune had asked if Chara was here."She is dead," Asgore said simply. Rune looked confused Chaos as her multiversal name is wasn't dead. He looked so confused his father hurried to removed him from the place so there wouldn't be a bigger scene. Rune came to the egde of the carnival and found Chaos looking in standing beside Frisk wondering if they should join. Rune ran to them and away from his dad who tried to keep up. Rune came to them and smiled. "Chaos Hope," Rune told them. He took off his eye coverings and hugged them. "Who are you?" Hope asked. Rune looked at them and they realized."Error I thought you were dead," Chaos said hugging him closer. They let go."My name is rune now. My dad named me," He said happily. as if it was planned did His father come over there."Rune, don't just run away like that," He said almost scolding."Sorry," He said. Gaster sighed."Dad this is chaos and Hope," Rune introduced them. Gaster looked at the children and realized why the gods had been shocked. "Can they join us?" Rune asked. "I suppose," Gaster sighed. Life had found them and she gasped once she saw Chara. She kneeled and started to cry. It was a reunion for the two and Rune knew. He held his father's hand smiling softly. The three children stayed together during the festival and enjoyed it. The gods brought offerings to the deities and Rune also brought an offering to karma and karma only. He was a kid so no one expected anything else that was until they saw his eye. He was deity marked and by karma. This meant two things and before anyone could ask did the gaster answer which one it was. The carnival ended right after but all in all Rune enjoyed his time.
