"MIDNIGHT!" Ink's voice cut through the seemingly empty apartment he was standing on. He was fucking done with his mate at the moment. Error or midnight, as he was called in the multiverse, poked out his head from the end of the hallway looking at his love sweetly and almost innocently. Ink had brought 5 guards with him as he walked up to his mate.
"You gotta stop with this," He said. Midnight just glared at him and gave him what he actually wanted.
"Oh come one I only do this once a week," midnight pouted. He sighed heavily pulling him closer.
"I don't want anything to happen to you or our child love," He said softly. You see. Midnight is currently 5 months pregnant with their child and well had been forcefully confined to their home. Something Midnight loathed he needed to be active and he couldn't be that at home. Plus he only choose missions that was him having to torture information out of a person who was morally wrong.
"The exchange is the 4 of may at exactly 3:54 am at halwas," Midnight said smiling as if it could calm his love. Ink sighed.
"How bloody?" Ink asked, exhausted.
"It isn't thought he is currently testing the new drug that makes people forget anything within 3 hours before taking said drug," Midnight smiled. HE had used preasurpoints and acid to torture the other to get infromation. Ink sighed even louder.
"I need to have you chipped," He said.
"You try that again and I will cut myself open to get it out again," Midnigth responded benting over sligthly. Ink smiled thought. He kissed the top of his love's head and grabbed his hand pulling him to the main entrance going back to the cars.
"Clean up," He ordered one of his men as both Ink and Midnight entered ink's car. He drow them back.
"Can you at least start to wear the tracking necklace? I want to know that you are safe especially because you are carrying my kin," He sighed.
"I'm not some pet you need to keep on a lease. We both know that I can hold my own," Midnight said. Ink sighed.
"I don't doubt you nor your abilities but I'm just worried. I know you can singelhandedly whip out 20 of me but I'm still worried. I just don't know what I would do if something happened and I couldn't do something only because I didn't know where you are," Ink said. Midnight sighed.
"How about I tell you what mision I take before I leave?" Midnight asked. Ink sighed.
"I would preferred if you didn't go on them at all," He said.
"Either you let me go and I will wear the tracker or we will continue with me sneaking out and finding flaws in the security system," Midnight said. Ink sighed.
"Fine but you stay home when you reach the 8th month," Ink begrudgingly agreed. Having to compromise was not something he was used to but then again having an equal was new too.
"That was always the plan," Midnight said, smiling softly. Ink sighed once again. He was just about done with his bullshit. They pulled up to their home and both walked in Ink walking in looking exhausted and midnight happily skipping behind him. Ink looked at him then smiled softly. Sure midnight was a pain in the ass sometimes but he was also his greatest love.
"I'll go to my office and ad in the new information. Please tell me when you leave for your doctors appointment," Ink said. Midnight only smiled and went to the lounge area. It had a lot of the top ranks currently in it to report or to deliver goods that could be trusted to no other. A lot of them looked at midnight surprised.
"You were faster than usually," One said and hurried to extinguish their cigarette. Ink had effectively made a ban on them after midnight fell pregnant.
