Izuku walked shakily, gripping the walls of the alleyway for support. He stepped out into the sunshine, looking around warily for any alphas around. Inhale, exhale. Izuku ran on unsteady legs to a busy street. He flagged down a taxi and opened the door.
"Where to, sir?" a tired sounding voice asked. The taxi driver looked strangely a lot like Aizawa, but Izuku didn't comment about his appearance and gave directions to a park that was near his house.
Izuku leaned back on the leather seat, and looked out the window, seeing trees and different cars pass by him. What would he say to his mom when he met her?
"Midoriya," the driver said.
"E-eh? AIZAWA SENSEI?!?" Izuku gasped. "It really is you!"
"Midoriya," Aizawa repeated, sighing a bit.
"Ohmygosh I'm so sorry but I think I have to skip school for a couple of days because I have a family issue and I really just need to see my mom because of-" Izuku rambled, wincing a little at the lie.
"Midoriya." Aizawa said, a little irritated.
"Yes sir?" Izuku snapped to attention.
"Your friends mentioned that you weren't at your dorm yesterday and you were with a blonde girl this morning. Would you like to explain where you went?" Aizawa, looked in the rearview mirror to see Izuku stiffen.
"I... I wasn't feeling well, so I was about to go back to UA. I think I must've fainted because I ended up at my friend's house and I spent the night there since it was growing dark." Izuku carefully replied. "My mom called me this morning, and I wanted to get to her as soon as possible,"
"Hmm," Aizawa said, looking at Izuku in the mirror with suspicion.
Izuku smiled nervously, clasping his hands together, hoping he would look innocent enough.
Aiwaza sighed, pretending to have accepted Izuku's excuse.
"3 days," Aizawa said and pulled up to the curb of the park.
"Thank you Aizawa Sensei!" Izuku smiled and tried to pay him.
Aizawa waved the money away and kicked Izuku out of the cab.
At this point, you may be wondering, WHY THE FAWK IS AIZAWA A TAXI DRIVER!??
well, uhhh, i have no answers. aizawa being a taxi driver would kinda fit his character tbh. besides, our best boi deku here needed a teacher to know beforehand that he would be taking some days off because of "a family emergency"
oh and, it's a sunday.
Izuku walked down the street to the familiar house he had spent his childhood in.
He rang the doorbell.
"Just a minute!" Izuku heard his mother's voice through the door and her hurried footsteps.
"Izuku?" Inko looked in disbelief.
"Hi, mom..." Izuku said shyly, fidgeting with his hands.
Inko immediately pulled her son into a tight hug, murmuring how much she had missed him.
"Come inside! Let's have some katsudon, shall we?" Inko smiled warmly, leading Izuku into the kitchen.
