Hehe I feel so happy for 1k views thank you again :)
I'm a little bit busy rn, cause I have relatives over so I couldn't find time to write until now. 😧
Anyways, enjoy the story!! ✌The last day of the final had passed by quickly, and Izuku finally had a little time to relax before it was time to go home to his mom. There were no more scent incidents from Izuku, which he was grateful for. However, Izuku had noticed Shoto always being near him, whever he went.
At first, Izuku didn't mind, seeing that he was able to check on Shoto to make sure he didn't spill his secret. It was also sweet that Shoto did more than keep his promise. Shoto covered for him, discreetly blocking everyone's view of Izuku when he changed in the locker rooms. If Izuku was showering, Shoto would shower in the stall next to him. Shoto was everywhere, following Izuku like a second shadow. After a while, it got on Izuku's nerves.
"Todoroki-kun," Izuku said one day, not being able to bear the feeling of being watched every second.
"Yes, Midoriya?" Shoto answered.
"Look, I really appreciate you looking out for me, but um, you don't have to follow me around. Even into the bathroom," Izuku said, embarassed.
Shoto popped his hand under the bathroom stall. "Here," he said, handing Izuku a roll of toilet paper.
Izuku took it confusedly. "I think I already have toilet pa-" Izuku looked over at the empty toilet paper rolls and stopped mid sentence. Izuku slumped sadly on the toilet, regretting for the 50th time he had forgotten his pills that day at the mall.
Shoto waited outside patiently. The toilet flushed and Izuku stepped outside with a mixture of annoyance and defeat on his face.
"Todoroki," Izuku said firmly, grabbing Shoto's arm. "Please just, can I, er," Izuku began, not sure how to say "fuck off" in a nice way."You're really cute when you stutter," Shoto murmured, touching Izuku's face with his hand.
Izuku batted the hand away and tried again. "Can I have some space? I don't need you to follow me around," Izuku said, forcing his tone to be light hearted.
Shoto frowned, a little caught off guard. "Does my presence digust you?"
"No! Nononono," Izuku said, frustrated. Shoto was missing the point by a kilometer.
"Then... do you find my presence seducing?" Shoto asked.
Scratch Shoto missing the point by a kilometer. It was more like Shoto had flew into the sun and had simultaneously flipped off the point Izuku was trying to make, causing everyone and everything to blow up.
Izuku bit back the tears of frustration in his eyes. Shoto was really a caring person, as well as a good friend, but Izuku found him so exasperating at this moment. Izuku ran out of the bathroom, frustration building up in his chest. Izuku ran into his dorm, flopping onto his bed. He huffed out a breath angrily and hugged a pillow to his chest tightly.
"Stupid Tomura," Izuku said outloud. "This is all your fault," he said. Izuku knew it was actually his fault, forgetting completely about the pills on that day. But, it felt good to blame it on someone else.
"Sorry Tomura." Izuku said guiltily. "I'm just so ticked off today," Izuku said, staring up at the ceiling. Izuku started re-enacting his day, his words eventually trailing off when he got to the part where he had ran out of the bathroom.
"Ah, what am I doing," Izuku said. "I'm being more of an idiot by talking to someone who isn't here,"Shigaraki was playing chess online against the computer. As much as Shigaraki loved to play Animal Crossing, he also liked strategic planning games. Chess was a good example. A game of war on the chessboard, each side cunningly moving pieces into an elaborate trap to capture the opponenet's King. Shigaraki was lazily moving the pieces accross the board, sniggering each time the computer made a blunder, falling deeper into his snare.
"Stupid Tomura,"
Shigaraki paused, cocking his head. Was that Izuku's voice? Shigaraki looked around the room slowly, his sharp eyes seeking for a hint of familiar green curls or a freckled face. Was it in his head?
"This is all your fault."
He could hear Izuku's voice being muffled, like he had pressed his face into a pillow. Shigaraki threw back the covers of his bed. Nobody was there. Shigaraki didn't dare to speak, hoping to hear Izuku's voice again.
A pause.
"Sorry Tomura."
Shigaraki heard a sniffle from Izuku. Shigaraki slowly sat on his bed, his heart giving a little twang at the sadness in Izuku's voice.
"I'm just so ticked off today," Izuku sighed.
Shigaraki waited for Izuku to continue.
"I can't take it anymore. Am I being too weak? I can't get the words out. I tried telling him to stop. I'm so sorry I didn't take the pills that day," Izuku's voice broke.
Who? Who was the one who dared to hurt Izuku? Shigaraki's mind whirled for possible suspects. There were so many of the UA brats, he couldn't determine which one had hurt his Izuku.
Izuku's small sobs echoed in Shigaraki's mind.
"I'm really as useless as my name says. A stupid Deku." Izuku gasped softly. "It isn't Shoto's fault. It was me all along. He was just trying to look out for me. I'm the one who over reacted. I shouldn't have ran out of the bathroom."
Shigaraki felt his nails pierce the palm of his hand as he clenched them tightly. So, it was Shoto. This was the brat that had the balls to make Izuku cry.
"Ah, what am I doing,"
Shigaraki heard Izuku wiping his tears away, sniffling softly.
"I'm being more of an idiot by talking to someone who isn't here,"
"I'm right here," Shigaraki whispered into the empty air.
Only silence answered back.
End of chapter.
Sorry I gotta go entertain my little cousins 😱
