☆LOV BASE☆

"Shiggy??" Toga called from the living room. "Have you seen Zuku anywhere?? I can't find him and I need some of his blood,"

Shigaraki didn't answer, pretending to be engrossed in his Nintendo Switch. To be honest, his mind was in another place, thinking and analyzing every action and interaction with a particular greenette...

Toga frowned when she saw the unopened shopping bags. "If these are still here, then where's Izuku?" she thought to herself.

"Shiggy!!! WHERE'S ZUKU?????" she screamed impatiently.

Shigaraki rolled his eyes and didn't answer, still ignoring Toga.

"I think he went home. Into the city dump," Twice called from the bar.

"What?? Why did he leave??" Toga questioned. "Was it because of SHIGGY?!" her tone suddenly grew dangerous.

"Perhaps. Perhaps not," Twice answered, both personalities afraid of what Toga would do next.

Toga stopped and stood eerily still, not moving a muscle.

"Tell me everything Shiggy said. Word for word." she threatened, drawing a knife out of her cardigan.

Twice tried his best at explaining what had happened. Izuku apparently has One for All, and Shigaraki went batshit.

"Well, thank you Twice," Toga said in a sing-songy voice. "Now I just have to have a little talk with boss," she impaled her knife into the middle of a barstool and grabbed 2 knives from the kitchen.

"SHIGGY!!" Toga yelled up the stairs. "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO?!" she burst into Shigaraki's room to find Shigaraki calmly look up from his Nintendo. This infuriated Toga. She threw a knife that embedded itself in the wall, missing Shigaraki's ear by a couple of centimeters.

"I asked you a question," she hissed, her yellow eyes narrowed into slits.
"He went home," Shigaraki tossed the Nintendo aside and unwrapped the bandages from his fingers. When Toga was in this mood, things were gonna get ugly.

"Why did you make him leave?" Toga asked, circling Shigaraki in a predatory way.
"He had to leave," Shigaraki said, watching Toga's moves. "Don't you see that he's a spy? He has All Might's stupid quirk. He's everything I despise,"
Toga paused her movements at this.
"...What?" she asked. "No, you're wrong. Izuku told me this morning that he had a super strength quirk-"
"Sensei could feel One for All in him," Shigaraki interrupted. "That's the reason why he's so favored by All Might. Like master, like student."
Toga got over her shock.
"He isn't All Might! Don't you see, he has the same ideals as us! Did he even try to give our location away during the night he stayed? He even covered for me when we were in public. I have no idea where you got that idea of Zuku being a spy, but he isn't!" Toga snarled.
"Then how was it so coincidental that Izuku showed up at the mall, exactly when his heat started? It's all a fucking bait." Shigaraki said, scratching his neck.
"YOU IDIOT! NOBODY ELSE KNOWS THAT IZUKU IS AN OMEGA! HE GENUINELY NEEDED HELP AND NOW YOU'RE ASSUMING IT WAS ALL A PLOY TO SEDUCE YOU? GET A GRIP! NOBODY WOULD WANT TO BE WITH YOUR CRUSTY ASS! YOU'VE JUST RUINED YOUR FIRST AND LAST CHANCE AT LOVE. WAY TO GO." Toga finished. "Dickhead!" She threw her knife down and flipped him off. She left the room in seething frustration, slamming the door behind her.

Shigaraki blinked. He realized with a sickening dread that he fucked up. Real bad.
"Fuck, I'm so blind," Shigaraki laughed to himself, his voice strangled with half sobs. He took Father off his face and looked at it. Father was the only anchor that kept Shigaraki from going insane, until he'd met Izuku. From that one night, Izuku had comforted Shigaraki more than he'd admit. Now that he had screwed things up, he'd lost another person he loved.
"I deserve this. I'm fucked up, it doesn't matter anymore." Shigaraki said, flicking away a tear angrily. He felt like destroying everything and everyone right now, except for Izuku. He wanted a chance to apologize. He wanted forgiveness. But he knew, he'd never get that anyways.

Izuku remembered bits and pieces of what had happened after he went into heat. He remembered Shigaraki lifting him up, and the feel of his hoodie when Izuku pressed his face into it. Shigaraki had left the mall with Izuku in his arms, then what? Izuku concentrated. He could fuzzily see two men? Alphas? Then Shigaraki had blocked his view. When the portal opened, Izuku looked back to see one man left and... a pile of dust on the ground? Izuku sat up in alarm, gasping for air.
"Oh my god, what the heck happened??" Izuku clutched his chest, hoping to calm his fast-beating heart. "Did they... try to rape me?" Izuku murmured to himself. If they were, it would explain Shigaraki's actions, but, Izuku didn't know Shigaraki well enough to understand his goals and objectives.
Izuku's mind kept on circling back to Shigaraki, the pleasant moments where it felt like... they were just two people in love. Not a villain and a hero, not an alpha and omega. Just two beings.
"Too late for that," Izuku said, dismissing the thought of wanting to see Shigaraki again.
Izuku climbed out of the tub, wrapping a towel around his body that had caused this whole problem.
"Stupid omega body," Izuku said to himself, looking into the mirror. He looked down at his flat stomach and considered the possibility of giving his womb up.
"I won't need it to be a hero," Izuku said, poking at his soft tummy.
Izuku gave his reflection a last look and exited the bathroom. In his room, he changed quickly into comfortable clothes and dried his hair until it became light and soft again.
Remembering the dirty clothes on the bathroom's tiled floor, Izuku ventured into the bathroom and retrieved them. He went down the stairs into the laundry room so that he could put the dirtied clothes into the hamper.
Izuku took out his phone and wallet from the pocket of his shorts and stuffed the pants into the hamper with the rest of his clothing.
"Well, that's settled." Izuku wiped his hands and left the room. As Izuku trudged up the stairs, he thought about the shirt Shigaraki had given him.
"Ah, screw it," Izuku said and ran back to get the shirt.
"Ugh, why do I need this?" he said out loud, holding the shirt to his chest. Even as he said that he brought his nose closer to the fabric and inhaled the faint scent of Shigaraki. Shigaraki smelled strangely like spearmint and clean laundry, which Izuku secretly loved.
Izuku hugged the shirt just as a child holds a stuffed animal and carried it up to his room. On instinct, Izuku started to shift some pillows and blankets around to create a nest for him to fit into. Izuku climbed in the pile of soft material, still clutching the shirt. Izuku fell asleep with Shigaraki's scent near him.
