Unexpected || Shigadeku

Chapter Twelve - Comfort

Izuku woke up blearily to the sound of his phone going off. 
RINGIRNINIRNRINIGNRINGINRRINGGGGGGGGDINGALINGALINGRINGrrrrrrRING 

(i don't know how to sound effect a phone call please don't tar me)

Izuku squinted his eyes at the bright screen and answered the call.

"Hello?" Izuku yawned. 

"Zuku!!" Toga cooed from the other end.

Izuku was wide awake now.

"HiMIKo-cHaN??" he choked, accidentally inhaling too much air at once. 

"Woah, deep breaths Zuku," Toga chided.

"W-what's *cough* the pro-*cough*blem?" Izuku said between gasps.

"Well, you see I didn't see you yesterday anywhere after breakfast and I just wanted to check up on you!" Toga said, a little too cheerily. "Now, tell me everything that happened between you and Shiggy so that I have more of a reason to carve him up," she said, tone icy. 

"I um," Izuku hesitated. 

"Izuku, if you don't want to tell then I understand. I'll just take that he hurt you very badly to leave you with emotional trauma which is a nice incentive to kill him!" Toga giggled.

"Wait! No! I'm, no I don't have emotional trauma!" Izuku protested.
Toga waited for him to continue.

"Er, I think that he just realized that this, whatever relationship we had, wasn't going to work," Izuku said softy. Without meaning to, he spilled everything that he felt when he had been in the league. "I really felt relaxed there, and I felt safe... but now Tomura found out that I have One for All, he hates me. And, I can't- bring myself to hate him..." Izuku's voice broke and he started crying.

"Awww, Zuku, don't cry," Toga said gently, her voice full of compassion. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that."

"C-can you come over?" Izuku asked quietly. "I just need somebody who understands,"
"Of course. Anything for you," Toga assured him. "I'll be over in 5 minutes," she hung up.

Izuku set down his phone and stared at his wall in shock. 
"Wait, I didn't tell her my address," Izuku said, shook.

Toga sees. Toga hears. Toga knows.

True to her word, Toga was at Izuku's house in 5 minutes. She debated throwing a rock through what seemed like Izuku's window. Toga wasn't sure if Izuku would appreciate a broken window. Thankfully, Izuku's window was open, so Toga chose her alternative option.

Izuku smelled something very sweet in the air, a scent that smelled like lemon and honey.
Izuku ran to his window and looked down to see Toga looking up at him. 

"Hey Zuku!!" she whisper yelled, waving up at him.

"Himiko!" Izuku said, shocked.

"Watch this!" she grinned.

Toga scrambled up the tree nearby Izuku's window and used a branch as a balance beam. She perched precociously on the branch and used it to propel her leap into Izuku's opened window.
Izuku stared in shock at Toga. 

"How'd you learn to do that??" Izuku said excitedly. 

"I needed to be like an acrobat to be efficient in combat," Toga said, looking around Izuku's room. "Wow, you really like All Might," she noted, taking in the countless All Might merchandise strewn across the walls. 

Izuku plopped down in his bed, blankets and pillows still arranged in a nest pattern. Toga removed her shoes and sat next to Izuku, careful not to disturb anything.
