aight the date is april 8th, 2023, I wrote that part^ like two months ago. In the short span of two months, I have been robbed, moved AGAIN, changed all my classes, and drugged myself into oblivion.

BUT HEY IM ALIVE! and I came back to 1000+ notifications 🤠 Have no fear, I will read through all the comments 😜

also... i have a girlfriend ☠️ I'm praying to god that she doesn't find this because I KNOW SHE WILL LEAVE MY ASS IF SHE FOUND OUT

kinda getting that goofy urge to delete everything from wattpad 😜🤞😍

Genuine question: Should I move to archive of our own (ao3)? And also, how do you block minors ☠️

Kurogiri applied the last of the salve and bandaged the open wounds on Shigaraki's neck. Usually, Shigaraki would prefer to let it sit and scab over so that he could just rip them off again. An endless bloody cycle.

"Done." Kurogiri stepped back, walking around Shigaraki to make sure there weren't any loose bandaging.

Shigaraki finished putting the last two cards on top of his card castle, his experienced fingers setting them down with feather light touches. And... everything was balanced, yet not. All the cards depended on each other to hold its shape, yes, but Shigaraki was reminded how the card pyramid looked so much like society.

The villains were always at the bottom. Without them, the heroes at the top would've never existed. Shigaraki smiled crudely. With a lightning quick strike, he removed a center card from the bottom row and watched as the whole thing collapsed within itself.

"Kurogiri..." Shigaraki mused. "Have you ever wanted-- no, needed, a person so badly you would've burned the world for them?"

"No, I have not experienced what you're feeling." Kurogiri answered carefully, packing away the medical supplies.

"Hmm. Strange." Shigaraki toyed with the card he removed. It was the queen of hearts.

Izuku sighed, covering his face with one of his blankets. It had been almost 3 weeks since he was "rescued" with Katsuki. The sweatshirt Izuku had stolen from Shigaraki was next to him, the scent almost faded.

He could feel the start of his heat looming over him, a constant reminder that he was vulnerable. Weak. Pathetic. When he was Unnamed, he didn't feel like the dumb nerd Deku was.

Adjusting back into his "normal" life was more difficult than Izuku thought. He had quickly grown used to the villains' lifestyle and its freedom. But getting that freedom deprived, no. I chose to leave. Izuku sighed deeply again. Who was he kidding? He missed Tomura Shigaraki. Every fiber ached for his touch, his breath against Izuku's skin, and his smell. Fuck.

Izuku blinked rapidly, holding back tears. He missed his mate. His true mate. Not Katsuki Bakugo.

Someone knocked on Izuku's dorm door.

"Hey, Deku, open the fucking door," Katsuki growled from the other side. Speak of the Devil. Izuku lugged himself from his bed, halfheartedly dragging the blanket over his body, the end trailing on the floor.

"Kachan?" Izuku opened the door.

Katsuki invited himself in, roughly pushing Izuku to the side and locking the door behind him.

"Deku..." Katsuki pulled Izuku into a hug, much too tight for Izuku's taste. Katsuki buried his nose into the crook of Izuku's neck, deeply inhaling the pheromones. Izuku tried not to flinch or jerk out instinctively as Katsuki's hands encircled Izuku's waist.

"I could smell your fucking scent all over the damn school." Katsuki snarled, frowning at the now-fading mate mark on the other side of Izuku's neck.

Izuku awkwardly rubbed the side of his neck, where Shigaraki had marked him. "Oh yeah... I'm going to go into heat in a couple days..." Izuku cringed. Wait.

"Kachan... I thought you weren't allowed to be with me during my heat! Well, I'm not in heat yet, but I'm about to!! What are you doing here?!" Izuku panicked, starting to ramble incoherently. "Oh my god, did UA change the rules because of me? Oh jeez, I need to find my scent blockers and my pills AHH WHERE DID I PUT THEM-??"

"Deku. Shut the fuck up." Katsuki captured Izuku's mouth with his own, briefly silencing the omega. "The teachers... they... allowed us to... WHATEVER!" Katsuki trailed off, his face dusted by a slight pink tinge, embarrassed at having to tell Izuku what the teachers wanted them to do.

Izuku's eyes widened, having understood the unspoken words. "Oh."

"It's for the good of the fucking school anyways. Those shitbags won't be wanting to bone you every passing second." Katsuki scoffed.

Izuku's eyes filled with tears unexpectedly. He remembered Shoto, one of his closest friends... the bathroom... Damn horomones.

"What why the hell are you crying!? Dammit, Deku I didn't-" Katsuki grew flustered, not knowing what to do with the crying omega in his arms. "Hey, don't cry," He picked up Izuku with ease, carrying him bridal-style to Izuku's half made nest.

Izuku buried his face into Katsuki's chest, staining the ash-blonde's sweatshirt with tears. "Kachan..."

"Hmm?" Katsuki grunted in response, trying to figure out how to position Izuku so that the nest could fit both of them.

"Shoto... Todoroki, I, um, he..." Izuku started hiccupping with meaning to, unable to force the words out of his throat.

Katsuki stilled his movements. "What did that bastard do." He demanded quietly.

Izuku held onto Katsuki's clothes tighter, his knuckles turning white, matching his white hot fury and a wave of grief slamming into him. He regretted it so much. "I was... in need. And he was there, and... God, I feel awful."

"I'm going to fucking murder that peppermint looking dickhead." Katsuki promised. "But right now, I need to take care of you." Katsuki gently kissed Izuku.

Izuku felt a surge of gratitude for Katsuki. It was nice to be loved, but he wasn't Shigaraki. But Katsuki was the one here, not... Izuku shook his head. No. Stop thinking about him. Izuku just painted a small smile on his face, making eye contact with Katsuki, and kissed him back.

End.
