Ch 4

After practice you Suna and Osamu were walking home together. They were coming over to your house for dinner since Kojiro was working. While on your way home you walked by the skate park you would go to in the middle of the night to practice. You kept walking until you heard the familiar sound of wheels on the pavement.

You stopped walking and turned to see Reki trying to perfect a 180 ollie. While trying to do it Reki fell harshly to the pavement, scraping up his forearms. Without thinking you ran into the skate park to help him up. All Reki saw was a hand in front of him and didn't bother to look at the person holding it out to him.

Reki took your hand and stood up finally looking up and into your eyes. Reki blushed a little seeing your soft smile and e/c eyes. "T-thanks for the help" Reki cursed under his breath at himself for stuttering when speaking to you. You just gave him a soft laugh "it's no problem, are you okay though?"

Reki could see the concern in your eyes as you looked at the scratches on his arms. "Oh yeah! I'm fine, don't worry about it too much." He smiled while rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Reki was about to say something else but was cut off by a voice in the distance. "Yo n/n! We gotta get going. We don't want to be at your place when Kojiro gets back".

Over by the fence Reki could see that Osamu was the one who spoke, he was waving one arm in the air while the other cupped the side of his face. He also saw Suna next to him leaning against the fence, his body turned away but his face slightly turned so he could see y/n and Reki. Although there was a slight distance between the two, Reki could see a harsh glare pointed at him from Suna.

Y/n just laughed nervously and turned back to Reki, "well that's my cue to leave, but I'll see you in class, yeah?" The boy just nodded at you as you began to walk away, your h/c blowing slightly in the wind.

Just before you got to your friends you turned around to speak to Reki one more time. "Oh, and check your foot position before you land the 180. Your feet are too close together." and with that you were gone with your two friends. Reki just stared at the spot you left from with his head tilted to the side. He was left with more questions than answers about you, but he knew he wanted to get to know you better.

On your walk home you smacked Suna in the back of the head, to which he let out a soft "ow". You just looked at him with a small pout on your face, "Rin you glaring at everyone I talk to is the reason I can't make any new friends. All you do is scare them off". As a response Suna walked behind you, wrapped his arms around your waist, and put his chin on top of your head.

"We're your friends n/n, you don't need to make new friends. Especially not a skater boy, I don't want you to get hurt again." With that you just kept silent, Rin had a point. The rest of the way to your house was quiet until you opened your door.

I did a double update today cause I'm bored at work and I feel bad that I left everyone hanging for almost 2 months on an update. Also are the chapters too short? Idk if you want them longer or not. I feel like they might be a good length but please let me know!
