Ch 18

The next morning when you got to class you immediately went up to Reki. He was sketching in his notebook. The boy didn't notice you until you tapped him on his shoulder. Reki just looked at you and smiled before going back to his drawing. He still had his arm wrapped up from his fall during his beef with Shadow.

While you were admiring the new board he was sketching a group of guys walked up to Reki. The boys looked at you confused before turning back to talk to the red head. "Reki that arm from a fight?" You held in a giggle knowing that Reki wasn't the type to get into fights. The boy looked slightly annoyed by the question, "as if."

Another one of the boys spoke up "You never learn your lesson do you? You got injured the other day too" Reki wasn't having it "I said as if!"

The last boy was looking at what Reki had been drawing. "You drawing something again?" The red head perked up, happy that someone might actually be interested. "Are you interested?" You couldn't help but notice the way Reki's eyes sparkled.

The three boys sighed "Nah looks like dangerous stuff." You saw the look of defeat on Reki's face so you decided to speak up. "I think it looks pretty cool." The sparkle in Reki's eyes came back and he started explaining to you his new board idea. The three boys looked at you like you were crazy before walking away.

Once the bell rang you went to your seat not really paying attention to what the teacher had to say. That was until you heard a familiar voice. You looked up and saw the blue haired boy that had helped you the other night.

You snapped out of your trance when the teacher spoke again "Langa you can sit in the back next to Y/n, please raise your hand" You raised your hand and once Langa saw you his eyes widened a little. He didn't expect to see you again.

Once he sat down he looked over at you "How is your ankle?" You smiled at him "It's okay, just a sprain. I'll be off crutches by the end of the week" Langa just nodded at you before facing front again.

Time flew by that day, you didn't even pay attention to what was going on in class. While you were putting your stuff away someone came up to your desk and slammed their hands down on it. Startled, you looked up and saw Reki's amber eyes, he was smiling at you. "You have anything to do today?" You just shook your head no. Daichi wouldn't let you come to practice until your ankle was healed.

Reki's smile got even bigger "Do you want to come with me to Dope Sketch? I have to work but you can look at all the stuff while you're there!" You giggled at his enthusiasm. "Sure sounds like a fun time." With that the two of you left school.
