Ch 19

Once you and Reki got to Dope Sketch he headed straight to the back to get changed. You on the other hand couldn't help but admire everything in the store. It had been years since you've been to a skate shop. Kaoru was always the one to buy materials for you to use since Kojiro would freak out if he ever knew you went.

As you were being mesmerized by the different types of wheels they had you didn't realize Reki was running up to you with a board in his hands. "Y/n!" You jumped slightly and turned your head to look at the red head. He had a wide smile on his face.

"I made this new board the other day and I wanted to test it out. Wanna come with?" You nodded your head and followed him out the door. Not watching where you were going you wound up tripping on a rock.

Closing your eyes you tried to brace yourself for the impact of the ground. But it never came. Instead you felt two arms wrap around your body. Opening your eyes slowly you saw Reki looking down at you with worry in his eyes.

Blushing slightly you stood up straight and got out of his arms. Looking down in embarrassment you noticed Reki had dropped his board and it started rolling away. "Reki the board!" The red head started to panic and rush after it.

Luckily he noticed someone walking by at the bottom of the hill. "Hey! Can you stop that board!" The blue haired teen stopped the board and picked it up. You slowly made your way over to the two teens chuckling softly at their conversation.

"Ah sorry. Do I know you?" Langa looked at Reki with a very confused expression, but then turned to you. "Oh, Y/n. Good to see you. I left your board where you asked me to." You smiled at the boy and said a quiet thank you to him.

Reki looked shocked, "Wait! You remember her but not me! I'm in your class! My name is Reki Kyan!" Langa rubbed the back of his neck slightly, "Oh, Sorry." The red head looked down at the board then up at Langa again. "Wanna skate?" You could swear you saw stars in Reki's eyes when he asked that.

But Langa looked nervous. "No thank you." That's when you decided to butt in, "I saw you looking at it. Why not give it a try?" The blue haired boy sighed and nodded his head slightly. "I'll try it."

You could tell Langa was nervous to try it out. He slowly put one foot on the board, moving it from side to side for a second. Then he put his other foot on. Langa just stood there for a bit. Then suddenly he fell and laid sprawled out on the ground.
