Amy is in the barn working on client folders with Ty. Lyndy is at school. ( She is in 10th grade.) But all of a sudden Amy's phone started to ring.

Amy answers her phone**

" Hello?" Amy says into the phone

" Hello Mrs. Borden, this is Principal Aaron at Hawkins High School. Lyndy Borden has detention for the next couple of days. She thought it would be funny to prank one of the new teachers." Principal Aaron explained

" I am so sorry about that. Me and my husband will have a talk with her when she gets home." Amy said

" Ok, thank you." Principal Hawkins said

Amy hangs up the phone**

" Who was that Amy?" Ty asked

" That was Principal Aaron at Lyndy's School. Lyndy thought it would be funny to prank one of the new teachers. So as punishment she has 3 days of detention. I told him we will talk to her when she gets home." Amy said

Ty sighs

" Ty what's wrong?" Amy asks

" It's just that I don't want Lyndy falling down the same path as I did as a teenager." Ty said

" She won't. It was a different situation then this one. I mean, Wade was beating you. Your mom was taking a bunch of medication and drinking." Amy said

" I guess you're right." Ty said

" What do you mean I guess." Amy said while trying not to laugh

Ty just bursts out laughing.

4 hours go bye and Lyndy is out of detention.

Lyndy gets a ride home from one of her friends, and tries to sneak upstairs to the loft but is stopped by Ty in the Barn.

" Oh hey Dad, I was just out with my friends. That's why I am home late." Lyndy said

" Oh really. Your principale called, why would you prank one of the new teachers? Also your chores, you have been slacking so much on your chores. What is going on Lyndy? You were such a good kid. What happened?" Ty asked

" I don't want to be a goodie two shoes like you and mom." Lyndy said walking away

" Young Lady, go to your room." Ty said

" Already on my way!" Lyndy shouted

Ty stood there frustrated. He then walked back into the office where Amy was.

Ty got out his computer and didn't look back up

45 minutes later**

" Ty, is everything ok?" Amy asked

" Yes, maybe, no." Ty said

" Ok, what's wrong?" Amy asked putting down the files she was holding.

" Lyndy said she didn't want to be a goodie two shoes like me and you were." Ty said

" Ty, don't worry about it. It's just a teenager thing. But where is she now?" Amy asked

" In her room. I sent her to her room." Ty said

" Did you take her phone away? Her TV remote? Her laptop?" Amy asked

" Umm, no. I probably should. I will be right back." Ty said

Ty got up and walked up the stairs.

He went and knocked on Lyndy's door, but didn't hear a response so he walked in.

Lyndy was just sitting there on here bed on the phone.

" Hold on bestie" Lyndy said into the phone

" What do you want Dad?" Lyndy said with a tone in her voice

" Lyndy hang up the phone. You're grounded from all electronics." Ty said

" Absolutely not. It's my phone." Lyndy said

" I pay the bills on it. You can have your stuff back in 3 days." Ty said

" Whatever." Lyndy said handing Ty her phone.

Ty also takes her TV and laptop too.

" Thanks for ruining my life dad." Lyndy said

Ty walked out and went to bring her stuff down into the office.

" So how did it go?" Amy asked Ty

" Well, she got an attitude with me." Ty said

" Well, she has to learn Ty." Amy said

" I told her she can get her stuff back in 3 days." Ty said

" Ok. Well it's getting late. I'm gonna cook dinner. Then call it a night." Amy said

" Yeah, that's a good idea." Ty said and followed Amy up the stairs

Later that night**

Everyone is asleep and Lyndy decides to sneak out her window and take Ty's truck to go see her bestie.

Ty wakes up to a noise and goes to check on Lyndy and she is not in her room.
