Heartland- Trouble

Chapter 13

Amy put her toothbrush down and walked out of the bathroom.

" Ty!" Amy called out and walked over to him

" I am so glad that you are back, but I thought you guys weren't going to be back until the morning." Amy said

" Well, we wanted to surprise you. Right Lyndy?" Ty asked

Lyndy just looked at Amy

" It's getting late, I am going to go set up Kylers playpen and lay him down." Lyndy said

Lyndy walked right past Amy not even acknowledging her. Lyndy walked into her room with Kyler and all of the stuff and shut her door

" Ty what was that about? Is she upset with me?" Amy asked

" No, I think she is just tired. It was a long trip with Kyler." Ty said

" Yeah, I guess your right. Well I have to ask this but are you ok with sharing the same bed with me?" Amy asked

" Of course I am. I mean we are married, aren't we?" Ty said

" Yes we are. I am so glad we are going to work on our relationship." Amy said

" Me too. I am wanting to introduce Kyler to the family in a couple of days. But tomorrow I do want to talk about our relationship." Ty said

" Ok, but let's get to bed. It is kinda late." Amy said

" Ok." Ty said

They got in bed and quickly fell asleep.

2:30 in the morning

In Lyndy's room**

Lyndy woke up to a text on her phone.

The text**

" Baby, can you please come outside? I am standing right infront of the barn." Jason 

Lyndy gets up quietly and sneaks down and opens up the barn door.

" Jason what is it? It is literally 2 in the morning." Lyndy said

" Can I see my son?" Jason asked

" No, not right now." Lyndy said

" But baby," Jason said but got cut off by Lyndy

" He is asleep right now, so are my parents." Lyndy said

" But, we can go for a walk." Lyndy said

" Alright, I also brought some beer and cigarettes." Jason said

" Alright, come on let's go." Lyndy said

Lyndy and Jason left to go on a walk but left the barn door open.

45 minutes later Lyndy still has 2 beers in her hand and she goes back to the barn.

Jason leaves to go home and Lyndy just sits in the barn with the door open.

She is just sitting there on a haybale and next thing she knows she sees a wolf.

She drops her beer bottle and stepped on the glass but the wolf jumped at her. The wolf bit her leg.

Lyndy screamed in pain. Lyndy screamed so loud that Jack, Lou, Ty, and Amy all heard her.

In 2 seconds Ty and Amy were down in the barn. 

" Amy stay back." Ty said grabbing a pitch fork

" BACK!" Ty yelled at the wolf

The wolf backed off and ran off.

By that time Jack and Lou were just approaching the barn.

Ty dropped the pitch fork and rushed Lyndy to the hospital

Within minutes of getting to the hospital Lyndy was rushed back and was tested for rabies and a doctor checked Lyndy's leg.

1 hour later.

" Hi, I am Doctor Adams, Lyndy's test came back negative for rabies, and she is going to need stitches on her leg and she will be just fine. But it does appear that your daughter is drunk." Doctor Adams said

Ty sighed and said" Ok, thank you doc." 

" It shouldn't be longer than 20 minutes." Doctor Adams said

" Ok" Ty said

25 minutes later Ty and Lyndy walked out of the hospital and got in Ty's truck.

" What the hell Lyndy. How did a wolf get into the barn? Why were you down there? And why the hell are you drunk?" Ty said as they drove home

" Dad stop. I am tired of you telling me to stop it. You don't know what an addiction is. You don't know how I am feeling. So just knock it off." Lyndy said

Ty looked at Lyndy and said
