Chapter 15

" Well?" Lou asked

" Lou, Lyndy just learned that Lily and Wade drank and used pills when Ty was younger. Lyndy has been using for probably a little over 8 months." Amy said

" Oh my gosh. But still who's baby is that?" Lou asked

" Well, it's Lyndy's baby." Amy said

" Oh my god. I can't believe it. I can't believe I haven't noticed." Lou said

" Well, we have been pretty quiet these past few months." Amy said

" I am going to go talk to Lyndy." Ty said

" Ok." Lou and Amy said

Ty walked to the Ranch House while Lou and Amy stayed in the barn, Lou was getting used to her new great-nephew.

Inside the Ranch House**

" Hey Ty, how are ya?" Jack asked when Ty walked in the house

" I've been better." Ty said walking past Jack

Jack stopped him.

" Ty are you sure? That's what you said the last time I saw you a little over 2 months ago." Jack said

" Yes, I'm sure. I just need to get to my daughter. Do you know where she's at?" Ty asked

" Um yah, she's in Amy's old bedroom." Jack said

" Alright, thank you." Ty said

" Wait one more thing Ty, what's wrong?" Jack asked

" What do you mean?" Ty asked

" I saw Lyndy come in crying and go in Amy's room and shut the door. That's not like her." Jack said

" Lyndy found out about my childhood. Basically how Wade beat me and how my mom used and drank." Ty said

" Ty I'm sorry." Jack said

" It's ok Jack, I am just going to go talk to my daughter." Ty said

Ty walked off to Amy's old bedroom.

Ty knocked on the door, but only heard crying.

Ty walked into the bedroom.

" Lyndy, I am so sorry that's how you had to find out." Ty said

Lyndy was looking out of the window.

" Lyndy, sweetie." Ty said

Lyndy turned around to look at Ty. She had tears running down her face.

" Dad, I just wish you told me sooner." Lyndy said

" I know, I just wanted to tell you when you were older." Ty said

" How much older?! I am already 16." Lyndy said

" I wanted to tell you when you were adult. I was hoping to tell you when you were an adult so you could understand better, for you didn't resent your Nana or Pop." Ty said

" Dad, you had a horrible childhood thanks to them. I don't want to end up like that and let Kyler have a bad childhood." Lyndy said

" I know you don't." Ty said

" So I have made a decision." Lyndy said

" And what would that be?" Ty asked

" I want to admit myself to rehab." Lyndy said

" Lyndy, are you sure?" Ty asked

" Yes, this is something I need to do." Lyndy said

" Ok, if you're sure about this then alright." Ty said

Over the next 2 weeks Ty and Amy admit Lyndy to rehab.

Amy is sitting on the couch reading a book while Kyler was asleep.

Ty walked up the stairs and saw Amy sitting on the couch.

" Hey Amy, I think this would be a great time to talk about our relationship." Ty said while sitting down

" Yeah, I think you're right." Amy said sitting her book down on the coffee table.

" Amy, I just have to ask, why didn't you tell anyone? Did you even tell your mom?" Ty asked

" Yes, I did. I told her the night we got in the crash. Right before we got into the crash I had told her. We were going to tell Lou and Grandpa when we got back to the ranch. But then we got into the accident. Then I was going to tell Lou and Grandpa but we were all grieving then you came into our lives. I just thought why re-open a wound if I don't have too." Amy said

" Amy, I'm sorry. But I really do wish you were more honest with me." Ty said

" I know, but you were this type of person that brushed everything off of your shoulders, and this was real important stuff. Then when our relationship started to get more serious I didn't know how you would handle it. I didn't want it to ruin our relationship." Amy said

" I understand." Ty said

" Well do you want to meet her?" Amy asked

" Honestly no. I don't feel in my heart we need another child in our lives. We have Kyler, we have Lyndy. What else do we need?" Ty said

" Absolutely nothing." Amy said
