Chapter 14

" I know what an addiction is, that was basically my whole childhood." Ty said

" What do you mean that was your whole childhood?" Lyndy asked

Ty drove in silence the rest of the way home and Lyndy kept on asking him what he meant by whole childhood.

At Heartland**

It is now 8:30 in the morning when Ty and Lyndy got back to the ranch.

" Dad, what do you mean by that was basically your whole childhood?" Lyndy asked again

" Lyndy! Just stop!" Ty yelled

" Dad! Just tell me." Lyndy begged

" Fine, your Nana used all my childhood and drank. All throughout my childhood and teen years!" Ty yelled

" Wha" Lyndy said with tears running down her face.

Amy was standing right there with Kyler on the staircase and heard everything.

Lyndy ran up the stairs. She got up to her bedroom and slammed the door.

Amy walked the rest of the way down.

Ty was just sitting on a haybale he was slouched over and had his face in his hands.

" Ty," Amy said

" Amy, I shouldn't have yelled at her. She had no idea." Ty said with a tear running down his cheek.

" Ty," Amy said wiping the tear from his cheek

" I should've told her sooner. If I would've told her sooner then this wouldn't have happened." Ty said

" Ty, you couldn't have prevented this." Amy says

Lyndy walks down the stairs into the barn.

" Dad, I have made a decision, I don't want to see Nana or Pop anymore." Lyndy said

Lyndy walked out of barn and went to the ranch house.

" Amy, I feel like I ruined her relationship with my mom and Wade." Ty said

" Ty, you didn't," Amy said rubbing Ty's back

In the Ranch House**

Lyndy walked in crying.

Lou was in the kitchen baking banana chocolate chip muffins.

Lyndy stood right there in the doorframe of the kitchen.

Lou looked up

" Lyndy sweetie, what's wrong?" Lou asked

" Everything is my fault." Lyndy said while crying

Lyndy ran off to Amy's old bedroom and closed the door.

Lou just stood in the kitchen confused.

Lou put her oven mitts down and walked outside.

Lou walked to the barn where Ty, Amy, and Kyler were.

" What's wrong with Lyndy? And whos baby is that?" Lou asked

Ty and Amy just looked at each other.
