Heartland- Trouble

Chapter 2

Ty gets worried and goes down to the barn to see if she is down there. She is not. Ty then sees the barn door cracked. He sees that his blue truck isn't out there anymore. 

He goes upstairs to wake Amy up. 

At Lyndy's bestie's house**

" Hey girl how are you?" Lyndy asks

" Good, I am so glad you made it to my party." Says Lyndy's bestie Elizabeth

" There is a guy bringing whiskey, white claw, beer, and other types of liquor." Says Elizabeth

" Cool, I can't wait until they get here. But I need to be back at home by 4 a.m. because my Dad gets up at 5 a.m." Lyndy says

" Ok. Oh hey the boys are here." Elizabeth says

Lyndy and Elizabeth help the boys bring in the alcohol.

" Alright, whos ready to start this party?" Says Elizabeth

" Me!" Everybody says

Back at the Bordens**

" Come on Ty. Just come back to bed.I'm sure you just parked your truck somewhere else." Amy said

" Yeah, you are probably right. Lyndy is probably just in the bathroom." Ty said getting back into bed.

Back at the Party**

Lyndy has had 4 beers and is working on her 5th beer.

" Woah, look at the time. I need to get back home. It's 4 a.m." Lyndy said grabbing her car keys and getting into Ty's truck.

On her way home**

Lyndy is driving all over the road and she is stopped by a police officer.

" Hello mam'e are you aware that you are driving all over the road?" The officer asks her

" No, I'm not." Lyndy said slurring her words together

" How old are you?" The officer asks her

" I'm 16." She said

" Alright, I need you to step out of your vehicle." The officer said

Lyndy refused to get out of the vehicle. 

The officer had to pull her out of the vehicle. 

" Mam'e you are underarrest. " The officer said

The officer put handcuffs on Lyndy and put her in the back of his car.

At that moment Lyndy knew she screwed up.

She gets taken down to the station.

" What is your first and last name?" The officer asked

" It is Lyndy Borden." Lyndy said

They entered it into the system and then called Ty

Back at the loft

Ty just gotten up and heard his phone ringing so he ran to the phone hoping it wouldn't wake Amy or Lyndy

" Hello?" Ty said into the phone

" Is this Ty Borden? Lyndy Borden's Father?" The lady on the phone asked

" Yes I am." Ty said

" We have Lyndy Borden in custody, she was caught drunk behind the wheel at 4 in the morning." The lady on the phone said

" Oh my God. I am coming right now." Ty said hanging up the phone

Ty goes to wake Amy up. 

" Amy, call Scott. I can't make it in to work today. I have to go pick up Lyndy from the police station." Ty said

" Alright. I will call him in a minute." Amy said getting up

Ty rushes down to the police station**

Ty makes it 30 minutes later. 

" Hi I am Ty Borden, Lyndy Borden's father." Ty said

" Hi Mr. Borden. Your daughter isn't going to be charged. But the truck she was driving has been towed to a tow yard." The lady said

" Ok." Ty said

" But first you need to fill out this information." The lady said

" Alright." Ty said

3 hours later Ty finally has Lyndy. They go to the tow yard to get Ty's truck.

2 hours later it is now 10 a.m.

Ty and Lyndy are going home now.

" Dad, say something. I know you have something to say." Lyndy said

" I don't think you want to know what I have to say to you." Ty said

" Alright fine. Don't be in such a mood." Lyndy said under her breath

" Young lady. Don't get an attitude with me." Ty said

" Dad, you don't have to yell." Lyndy said

They drove home in silence.

1 hour later they get back to the Ranch**

" Young Lady, go up to the loft right now!" Ty yelled

Lyndy walks up to the loft.

" Woah Ty, what was that all about?" Lou asked

" Also how come Lyndy isn't in school right now?" Lou asked
