▪︎ Yes, this takes place during Infinity War right before and when Doctor Strange disappears. As always, this kinda has to do with an OC, but I hope you enjoy and tell me what else you want to see. ▪︎

Tony Stark hovers over me, fixing up my wound, just as he did to his own. Stephen stands next to me, pacing around in a panic. I look up at him for a moment, my eyes squinted and breath heavy. My head turns to Peter Parker, who is sitting by my side and watches Tony. Slowly, my head turns back to Stephen.
"Stephen?" I ask. He turns his head down to look at me. He raises an eyebrow and quickly kneels down next to me. I grab onto his hand.
"Yeah? What is it?" He says. His voice stays almost completely monotone, as if he's not trying to show any emotions, but I can still tell he cares based on how hard he holds my hand. "Why did you do it? You're the protector of earth and you just gave away the stone. One of the most important things The Ancient One left behind."
"I had to." He mutters. "I'm sorry, and I fear that what will come soon won't be very great... but it will all come together. I swear."
"What's going to happen?" I exclaim, sitting myself up the best I can.
"You know I can't tell you that. You'll learn on your own just like everyone else." He tries his best to smile at me. I nod in agreement and sigh. Stephen helps lift me up off the ground and I lean my head onto his arm for support. We look around, watching the Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Peter, and Tony.
"You know I know something terrible is going to happen. I just worry I'm going to lose you. I-I can't do that..." I sigh. "Thanos has probably finished his task about now." Stephen looks at me, I can see the fear in his eyes. It makes my heart sink to the back of my chest. I instantly know something is wrong. Stephen lets out a large sigh before I begin looking around at everyone around me once more. This time, I'm more cautious and panicked.
"Somethings not right..." I suddenly hear Mantis exclaim. I turn my head over to her as she disappears into ash. I gasp and then look up at Stephen. This is what Thanos is doing?
"Quill?" Drax mutters before dusting off. I suddenly feel my heart pound to the point I feel like I'm going to vomit. I look up at Stephen as others begin to drift off.
"Tell me it's me." I shout out. "Tell me I'm the one disappearing. Not you." I feel a tear fall as my panic turns to sadness. "I will not lose you like this. I will not watch you dust away into ash. I grab his hand, but I slowly begin to feel it deteriorate. "No."
"I'm sorry." He mutters, still trying to keep his monotone voice. I can see a tear well up in his eye, but he doesn't let it fall. "It had to happen."
"No!" I try to grab his other hand, but it's gone. It's turned to absolutely nothing.
"You can save us. Keep the left over hero's together and think of something." Stephen smiles and begins to fall over as his legs begin turning to ash.
"How? How long will you be gone? What do we do?" I say, tears falling onto the ground as I sniffle. I completely forget about the pain of my wound. "Please, Stephen."
"I love you, (Y/N)." He spits out as his body and face begin disappear. I watch as his face turns to nothing and suddenly I'm on the ground alone. I lean over, staring at the ashes. I pull myself off the ground and wipe away my tears.
"I-I love you too." I mutter under my breath even though it's already to late. I turn around only to see Nebula and Tony. They're the only ones left. Tony gets off the ground and marches over to me.
"Why did he do that?" Tony shouts. "Why did Strange give up the stone! Is he that stupid?"
"He isn't stupid, that's for sure. Strange can see into the future so he obviously did this for a reason. We need to figure out that reason and fix this." I sigh. "He would never do this purposely... trust me."
