"Brandy?" Elliot asked softly, as he kept a hold of the little boy's hand. He didn't know how he got Brandy pregnant, when she always insisted on using condoms and she also was very religious with her birth control. But now he's standing here, and she is insisting that this little boy was his.
"You ruined my life, Elliot. I'm tired of him, so he is yours now. I want nothing to do with him." Brandy huffed before stepping closer to Elliot, Olivia, and the boy.
"How can you just get rid of your own son?" Olivia breathed.
"Stay out of this, Olivia. You stole him and left me with that kid."
"He's your son, Brandy!" Elliot yelled, but before he could do anything else, Olivia touched his arm with her free hand.
"Talk to her, El. I'll take this little guy, and you can discuss this all with Brandy." Olivia spoke.
"Liv-"
"It's okay, babe. This isn't his fault, so he shouldn't have to listen to this."
"His name is Miles, but you can change it if you want. I honestly don't care." Brandy grumbled, as Olivia picked Miles up and carried him back towards the diner.

Elliot and Brandy stood in silence for a while as Brandy smoked about half a pack of cigarettes. She eventually stopped before pointing at her car.
"All of his shit is in there." Brandy spoke.
"Why are you doing this? And why are you just now telling me about him?"
"I had plans, Elliot. I wanted to be a model, but then I got fat because of your kid... I'm not going to let my life continue to be ruined because of you."
"Brandy, you should have told me when you got pregnant. I would have helped out. I could have been a father to him from the start!"
"You would never have stepped up!" Brandy yelled.
"I totally would have because I'm a good guy! I would have been there when Miles was born! I would have chipped in with child support! God, Brandy! You act like this is all my fault, when you never told me shit!"
"I never wanted kids, and I still don't want him. So take him. Pretend like I don't exist. Okay? Let Olivia raise him with you, because she'd probably be a better mother than I ever could be."
"Do you love him at all?" Elliot whispered, and Brandy laughed bitterly before shaking her head.
"I have never and will never love him. Take his stuff, take him, and file these papers with the court. I don't want anything to do with him, so it is your turn and it will never stop being your turn." Brandy sighed. She went and unlocked her car before grabbing a folder and passing it to Elliot. Then she started to unpack all of Miles' stuff.
"Are you-"
"I'm sure that this is what needs to happen, Elliot. Enjoy your life with him, because I have hated life since I found out I was pregnant with him. Trust me."

Olivia had an extra bedroom in her apartment, so they decided to take Miles back there. They put him to bed in the spare double bed, and then Elliot clung to his girlfriend as he sobbed. Today his life changed in a huge way, and he was terrified of everything. He didn't know if he'd be a good father, especially since he wasn't there for Miles when he was born. He never got the chance to bond with him, but then again, it was Brandy's fault. She hid Miles for three years.
"It's okay, baby." Olivia cooed as she ran her fingers through Elliot's hair as he continued to cry.
"I hate this." He whispered, and Olivia nodded.
"I know. This is going to be super hard, but we will make it through this together." Olivia spoke before leaning down and kissing Elliot's temple.
"We will make it through this together?" Elliot sniffled as he sat up and wiped tears from his cheeks.
"I'm not leaving you, El. We are stronger than ever, and I will help you as much as possible. I want to make sure you and Miles are good." Olivia smiled.
"I love you." Elliot breathed, and Olivia nodded before leaning in and kissing Elliot's shaking lips.
"I love you too, babe. Now, we should go to bed. We don't know when Miles will wake up."
"I have only taken care of Jessica... never a little boy. I might not be good with him."
"You will be an amazing father. To Miles, and whatever babies we have in the future. I am completely sure of that."

Elliot passed out and slept deeply, but not very well. He was tossing and turning, while Olivia stayed up most of the night and soothed him in his sleep. At around six in the morning, Miles came into their bedroom and found Olivia coming out of the bathroom.
"Hey, sweetie." Olivia whispered as she walked over to the boy before squatting down in front of him.
"Is Daddy still sleeping?" He whispered, and Olivia nodded.
"Yeah, he is. But I can take care of you... are you hungry?" Olivia whispered back.
"Yeah, and thirsty. Can I have milk?"
"Of course, honey. C'mon." Olivia smiled before lifting the small boy up. She was shocked by how light he felt, but then again, she didn't know how well Brandy was taking care of him.
Olivia walked around her kitchen with Miles on her hip. She got him milk and had him help her make pancakes. He eventually dozed off on her shoulder, and she didn't mind.
"Are you making breakfast?" Elliot yawned when he finally woke up.
"I am. Miles was helping me, but he got tired." Olivia smiled as she looked over at the boy who was officially sleeping and snoring a bit.
"He really likes you."
"I like him too. He's sweet, just like you. Now, how are you feeling?" Olivia asked.
"I'm okay. Not amazing, but okay."
"Good, babe. You will get better as the days go on. Especially once you file those papers to make sure he is yours, once we tell your parents and mine, and after we get things figured out."
"Are you sure that you want to help me?" Elliot breathed, and Olivia nodded.
"I'm here for the long haul, El. I promise."
