Elliot climbed into bed with his fiancee that night, and he couldn't stop smiling. He was beyond excited about getting a daughter, and he couldn't stop thinking about how adorable their child would look. How she'd take after Olivia.
"Your face might freeze into that smile forever, El." Olivia teased, as she looked over at Elliot.
"I'd be okay with that, because I'm happy. You are awake and doing great, Miles is happy and healthy, and our daughter is well on her way into the world. I am the happiest that I have been in a while, and I think it is all thanks to you." Elliot smiled. He leaned in close and kissed Olivia several times before wrapping his arms around her body.
"I'm glad that I can make you happy, El. At least I'm good at more than one thing." Olivia breathed.
"What else are you good at?" Elliot teased, before he laughed at Olivia's fake laugh.
"Real funny, Stabler. But I'm being honest. I'm a wonderful mother, teacher, and partner. That is three things more that I had ever thought."
"Now, we need to pick out her name and figure out if her nursery should be set up here or not." Elliot breathed.
Olivia sighed as she rolled over onto her back and held her stomach.
"I know that we are adults and everything, but I really can't imagine living anywhere but here... I guess it's because I love being around your parents and having help with Miles, but eventually I will have to do this all by myself."
"You will never be by yourself, Liv. No matter where we live, I will always be there to help you. Now, can we cuddle again? Because I was really enjoying being close to you."
"You just like that you can see down my shirt and look at my boobs." Olivia sighed.
"Well, that is a plus!"

Elliot decided to use his day off to take Miles ice skating in the city while Olivia spent time with his mother at home.
"So, did you and Elliot get to talk about the baby last night?" Bernie questioned as she watched Olivia fold a load of Miles's clothes. Olivia didn't realize how dirty little boys got until she had to wash the clothes of her son.
"A little bit." Olivia replied nervously.
"Like names?"
"No, not yet. I'm sure we will probably wait till the last second. But we did talk about her nursery."
"That's awesome! Joseph has drawn up plans for putting a door from your room into the room next door. Then at least you and Elliot can have the baby close." Bernie smiled.
"Do you still want us here?"
"What?" Bernie mused.
"Do you still want us here after the baby is born? We are adults, and I really don't think you would want us to grow our family here... don't you want to enjoy having an empty nest?" Olivia frowned as she looked down at a small shirt that was incredibly stained thanks to Miles.
"Of course we want you four here, Olivia. I don't know what got you to think otherwise. After your accident, Joseph and I talked about how having you all here would make the most sense. Then when the baby is born and you go back to work, or not because we won't force you to work or not, then I can be here with her. Joseph and I have such a special bond with Miles and we want that to happen with our second granddaughter too."
"Are you going to be there too?" Olivia sniffled as tears slipped down her cheeks.
"Be where, sweetie?"
"Beside me when I have my daughter... I know it probably isn't-"
"I will be there holding your hand the whole time, Liv. You are my daughter, love. Even if I didn't raise you from a baby, you are my daughter and I am so thankful for you. You really brought back that sparkle in my son's eyes."

"Alright, here is some hot chocolate with extra whipped cream for my little man." Elliot grinned as he sat a cup in front of his son.
"Thanks, Daddy!" Miles exclaimed.
"Of course, bud. Now, did you have fun?" Elliot asked, and Miles nodded as he sipped his drink. Elliot had asked the barista to put ice in it, since he knew that Miles would either spill some or make a mess of himself and he didn't want him to get burned.
"I did, Daddy. Next year we can take my baby sister with us! Mama too!"
"I think that would be really fun, Miles. Now, are you ready to be a big brother?" Elliot questioned, and Miles nodded.
"I can't wait to meet the baby. Mama said that she is a blessing like me..."
"You and your baby sister have made Mama and I so happy."
"Baby sister?" A voice asked, and Elliot looked away from his son and looked at Olivia's brother.
"Hey, Matty... uh, it's good to see you." Elliot breathed quietly, as he tried to not get angry. He knew that Matthew wasn't the problem or the cause of their first, but he still hadn't contacted Olivia since shit hit the fan.
"Yeah, it's good to see you two as well. So Olivia's having a girl?" Matthew breathed.
"Yeah, Mama's belly big because of her! It's hard to hug her." Miles giggled as he looked up at Matthew.
"Elliot, can I talk to real quick?" Matthew asked weakly, and Elliot nodded.
"Sure. Miles, stay put. Don't move."
"Okay, Daddy!"
Elliot and Matthew walked over to an empty booth before sitting down. Matthew didn't know what to say, but he wanted to know more about Olivia. He missed his big sister, and he hated that he was missing out on watching her be a mother to Miles and growing her daughter. He wanted to be an uncle to her kids, but he was sure that would never happen.
"How is she doing?" Matthew finally spoke.
"She's still recovering from her injuries, but she's doing better. Her doctor gave her the all clear, and her pregnancy has been going amazingly."
"Do you think she misses me?"
"She misses you all, but she's not in a great spot to contact you guys. Especially not Serena and Doug."
"Elliot, I didn't think that you hurt her. I swear-"
"I will give you her new cell number and you can call her. Just wait till after five. She takes about a three-hour nap during the day, and I really don't want her to miss out on any rest."
"Thanks, Elliot. So much."
