Luke threw his shirt at me, smirking at himself. He was here at the time he said he would be and he had the band shirt I wanted AND he had found chunky shoes, in the right size.

I turned Luke's body around as I got changed, quickly removing my clothes and putting them back on with the new ones. The shirt drowned me. Luke was so large compared to my petite body. The socks reached just above my knees, giving off a sporty-esque style. I smiled to myself, this would be the only time I would go out and party in most likely my life and I actually looked decent.

"Can I look round now?" Luke sighed, running a hand through his hair.

I bit my lip, "Sure."

He turned around quickly, looking me up and down and giving me a thumbs up. I smiled at him, "Thanks for the shirt, it's cute. I think I'm gonna keep it."

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever. You look good. I'm sure boys will be all over you."

"I'm not dressing up to get the attention of dumb boys, I'm looking good for myself." I huffed.

Luke shrugged, pulling out his phone and dismissing our conversation. I pulled on the shoes, the jelly like texture causing me to slide a little in them. I grew a few centimetres but I was still smaller than Luke, but then again, who wasn't smaller than Luke?

I smiled at myself in the mirror, twirling a little in my outfit. I was impressed. Luke's fashions tips were actually quite good. I picked up all the stuff I thought I needed for the night, sticking it in a bag Luke had brought with him. This stuff included cheap eyeliner that I stole from my sister, some reddish lipstick and my phone charger - you can never leave home without a charger.

"You ready?" I exasperated, fixing my hair in the mirror.

Luke nodded, picking himself up and heading towards the bedroom door, "I'm so excited!"

I rolled my eyes, following behind him and down the stairs. Mum grinned from the bottom, taking a few photos. My mum was cool, she understood teenagers I guess. Now that her youngest daughter had decided she wanted to actually communicate with people other than those online and fictional characters, she was pumped and I guess wanted to make the most out of the moment.

"You look gorgeous." Mum grinned, kissing my cheek.

I quickly cleaned it away, laughing and smiling, "Thanks mum."

Dad stared at me for a moment, looking me up and down and sighing, "This is it, isn't it?"

"What?"

"My last daughter is finally leaving the nest." He mumbled.

I rolled my eyes, "Dad, I'll be home by midnight and from there I will proceed to brush my teeth with my green dinosaur toothbrush. Your youngest daughter is going nowhere anytime soon."

Luke laughed awkwardly behind me, "I'd love to chat with you Mr and Mrs.Reed but we really must head to the party."

Luke pulled me away slowly, "Being fashionably late isn't cool anymore."

I nodded, allowing him to drag me out into his car. It was pre-heated and made my body feel warm against the cold, spring breeze. I unrolled the window, allowing my hair to fly about in the wind. Luke's music blared from the car, he was really into bands, scratch that, Luke was a music junkie. I wasn't unlike him, I enjoyed some music that he liked - we both share a mutual love for All Time Low and Nirvana.

"So, I kinda have to tell you something." Luke said, biting his lip and refusing to meet my eyes.

"And what is that?"

"This party, it's kinda, full of 'bad' people." He murmured.

I lifted my eyebrows, "'Bad people'?"

"Just a bunch of people who like to smoke and drink and do drugs."

"So, basically, teenagers?" I shrugged.

Luke chuckled, "Sure, if you want to go with that term. I'm just saying don't be surprised if you see something a bit weird, and don't be tempted, please?"

I nodded, it was always best to listen to Luke. He knew more about crowds than me, mostly because he socialised more than me but it was best if I listened to him. And I guess that's what I'd do, because I in no way wanted to break the rules.
