THURSDAY - OCTOBER 11TH / ILLEGAL BONFIRE

Luke and I hung out at lunch but we honestly didn't do much. I had realised that Calum hadn't turned up to school today either and so I was forced to endure Sarah's constant voice. Honestly, her voice could drive you up the wall. I felt like strangling her at some points. Not to mention that Luke and her were always going on about how they love one another. Like, yes, I get you like one another but you don't love one another - you're using the word too much. Love has a meaning and they certainly don't feel it for one another.

"No but I love you more," Luke grinned.

Sarah shook her head, "No baby no! I love you more!"

Ashton and I stared at one another in annoyance. He was probably just as pissed off as I was. I never really spoke to Ashton but I guess he seemed okay. He was a fellow friend of Luke's and they were both music geeks, so I never really spoke to him.

"Do you guys have to, like, do this every lunch?" Ashton groaned.

The pair looked at him confused, their hands interlocked tightly. I nodded to Ashton's comment, "Yeah, all I keep hearing is 'no I love you more' - it's putting me off of my pasta."

It was true, I had only had about 3 bites of my pasta and it was all because of their lovey-dovey behavior. It would have been different if Luke was saying it to someone like Poppy Reynolds - someone I actually like. Besides, Poppy and Luke would totally look cute.

"Just because you don't have a boyfriend to say it too," Sarah mumbled, "Doesn't mean you have to rain on our parade."

"I'm sure a lot of boys like Frankie." Ashton nodded, sending me a quick smile.

Sarah rolled her eyes, pulling herself into Luke, "Calum Hood certainly has eyes for her."

I nearly spat out some of my juice. Why did she always have to say this in front of someone? In fact, why did she always bring Calum up anyway? It's not exactly her business, nor should it be anyone else's. Calum and I were happy being the way we were. And that was hanging out in private.

"Look, don't bring him up." Luke grumbled.

Sarah shrugged, sending me a glare and taking a bite of her sandwich. I rolled my eyes, twirling my fork in my lunch, "Calum means nothing."

"Yeah, Frankie and Calum would never work.." Ashton shrugged.

I nodded, "Thank you Ashton!" Even though it kind of hurt.

The lunch bell rang, my heart flipping over and over again as I was able to leave this table and head to one of my classes. Hopefully I could hide from Luke and Sarah and just go home by myself. That's what would make me the happiest.

I pulled my bag onto my back, pushing my chair in and skidding. I heard Luke say goodbye but I didn't answer. Ashton hung onto my bag slightly, pulling me back as I tried to run away.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I've seen Calum and you in town," Ashton whispered, "Like, the other day."

"Oh God." I mumbled.

Ashton shook his head, "I won't tell Luke - or frickin Sarah."

"You don't like her either?"

"She made fun of my drum-kit." Ashton groaned, sticking his lip out.

I laughed a little, "Shes seen your drum-kit?"

Ashton nodded, "Luke was hanging out with me the other day. He begged me to let her come over. We didn't even do anything - I had to watch them kiss one another all day."
