WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 3RD / GRAFFITI
I pulled on a white vest top, taking a sip from the coffee. I only had a few lessons today and lucky for me I had no morning lessons.
I was becoming increasingly worried about Calum, it was 10:23 and he hadn't texted me yet. I mean, he could have some classes right now but it was unlikely considering most of the year didn't have morning lessons on Wednesdays.
I tapped my phone with my nails, biting my lip in anticipation. We had to do something today. My eyes wandered to the time at the top of the screen - 10:25. Come on, we'd be out of class by now.
My phone buzzed, my heart flipping as Calum's ID came up. The text was short: 'I bought you something - meet me outside of school in 15.'
I scooped my things up as quickly as I could, throwing them into my bag and rushing out of the door. Luke refused to pick me up today - something about taking Sarah to school. Bloody Sarah.
I paced to school, biting my nails as I walked up to the gates. Calum grinned as I walked up him. He had cans in his hand, tapping them lightly with his fingers. He really didn't care if someone was to see him. Then again, he was Calum Hood and I doubted he cared much for a reputation.
"Hey," He smiled, "Look what I've got."
"Cans of..."
"We're gonna do some graffiti!" He grinned.
I nodded, fixing the bag on my shoulder. I didn't know he was into that stuff but whatever.
"And where exactly are we gonna do this?" I shrugged, looking up at his tall body.
"Just around the corner - it's one of the breaks so we can go and do this quickly."
I nodded, "Lets go."
I followed behind him as we walked towards the large graffiti wall. It had gotten its name because so many people had drawn/painted on it. It was pretty great, it was sort of like a town monument. But people were banned from doing anymore after a while, so I guess we were kinda breaking the law here.
"What do you want me to do?" I asked as I knelt near the wall.
Calum shrugged, shaking a can of the graffiti paint, "Whatever you want."
I took a green, spraying a smiley face and smiling at my work. Calum took a red, spraying a large heart which made my stomach turn a little.
"Don't worry," Calum laughed, "This heart doesn't mean anything. I don't like you, God, that would be disgusting."
I could feel myself go a little red, retreating away from Calum a little. He didn't seem to notice. I didn't like Calum but it wasn't nice knowing that he thought liking me was 'disgusting'. No girl wants to hear that.
I shrugged it off, doing a little more. Our art looked pretty cool in the end. They became increasingly sillier, my artwork turning into dinosaurs and Calum's turning to boobs. We laughed together, standing back and looking at them.
"Here, let's take a picture of us in front of our artwork." Calum chuckled, placing his phone in front of us.
I grinned childishly, putting my thumbs up. Calum grinned largely, pointing at his large boobs. He had one hand around my back, it was warm. The phone counted down, taking the photo with a flash.
"You have to send me that." I laughed, staring down at the surprisingly cute photo.
He nodded, "Come on, we better go."
We walked in silence back to school. A few teens hung out outside, with bottles and cigarettes. They were hidden from the school cameras - clever shits. Calum left my side, jogging over to them and taking a cigarette from the dude, Michael. Michael waved at me slightly. I waved back, my eyes diverting to Calum who had his arms around a petite blonde girl.
