SUNDAY - OCTOBER 14TH / FAKE ID - CLUB
Spending all day helping my parents clean the house wasn't exactly how I thought I'd spend it. But I mean, I found some pretty cool things. I found a photo of Luke and I when we were 7 - it was Halloween and I was a nurse while he was a crappy looking spider, typical Luke. But I smiled when I saw it. I smiled when I saw my best friend and I.
"Keep it if you want," Dad shrugged, "We have no use for it."
I nodded, sticking it in my back pocket and pushing myself up the stairs. Mum hadn't said any words to me since yesterday and I was beginning to worry that I had pushed it too far. But then again, I've hardly done anything wrong. I just said it how it is.
Calum's (now personalised) tone rang from my phone causing me to jump a little. I pulled it out, checking the time before picking up.
I groaned as I picked up the phone, "Hood."
"Well hi to you too." He scoffed.
"Sorry," I murmured, "My belly hurts."
"Do you still want to hang out?" He asked.
I looked at my clock on the wall. It was 7pm and I had already had dinner - I was banished from the family table, meaning I had to eat in my room. I was seriously pissed off with my family and it's not just my period. Fuck it.
"Of course I do." I smiled.
"I'll be there in 10." Calum chuckled, "See you then, baby."
My heart fluttered a little as the phone went dead. I would just fix myself up a bit, I didn't want to look like I wasn't trying. Besides, Calum sounded pretty happy today. When he was happy, I was happy.
I dropped out of the window the way Calum and I had become accustomed to doing. He was waiting outside, his arms crossed and he was smirking like an idiot. I smiled stupidly as I trudged towards him, fixing my pants.
"You look nice," He smiled, placing his hand out for me.
I took it, "Thanks. I suppose I tried."
"You look beautiful all the time - you don't need to try."
I blushed, pushing a piece of my hair behind my ear. Calum chuckled to himself, opening the car door for me and allowing me to sit down. I loved when he did that for me. It was like he was trying to be a gentleman - and that is very cute.
"So," I smiled as Calum started to drive, "Where are going?"
"To a club." Calum smirked.
My heart twisted a little, "I don't have an ID."
"Lucky for you I already have that covered."
"Oh yeah? How?" I asked.
Calum winked, laying one hand on my thigh. I stared down at it, my heart thumping and my stomach clenching on itself. I don't even know how I was feeling but when he had just touched my leg I swear I could feel a spark.
"My friend John - he makes fake IDs." He chuckled, "It's quick and easy and he said you could have it for free because you're joining the bad side."
"The bad side isn't exactly how I'd put it." I laughed.
"But do you like it?"
"Like what?"
"Being rebellious - with me especially." He smirked.
I nodded slightly, "I mean, if I'm honest, I don't think I would have accepted the 'challenge' if it had been anyone else."
"Why did you say yes to me?"
"Because," I sighed, "I hated you and wanted to prove you wrong."
"But now you LOVE me." He winked.
I laughed, nodding, "Sure."
"I like you."
I sighed loudly, "I think that-"
"Hey look we're here!" Calum grinned.
