Just as we were about to enter the great hall,
"Wait wait wait," I pulled him back, "We can't enter at the same time, they'll think something is up," I told Potter,
"You want me to wait out here?" He asked, "I'm hungry!" He whined,
"Such a baby I swear- just wait a couple minutes, I'll just say hi and go sit at my table," I rolled my eyes at him. I was about to enter when something caught my eye. I turned back to him and buttoned his shirt to the top to hide a hickey peeking out, "It's like you want to get caught," I huffed,
"I never wear my shirt like this- I look uptight," He complained as he pulled at his collar,
"Want to answer a million questions? Isn't it enough coming up with an excuse about where you were last night?" I stated,
"I have to come up with an excuse?" He groaned,
"What did you think dumbass? Our friends are the nosiest people ever," I retorted,
"Okay I got it, go in," He smiled evilly. It was suspicious but I shrugged and entered the hall.
I walked to the Gryffindor table first and started greeting them,
"Where were you at breakfast?" Dorcas asked instantly,
"I got some coffee from the kitchens, I wanted to finish some homework because I have practice tonight," I lied casually. I did have practice though,
"Such a nerd," Mary laughed,
"You're welcome to use my notes," I offered,
"My favorite nerd," She joked hugging me. We all laughed but were interrupted by Potter interrupting us,
"What are you ladies laughing at," He asked,
I turned to glare at him for coming so soon and my eyes widened when I looked at him. He had unbuttoned the top three buttons and like 5 different hickeys were full on display,
man I really got carried away
"Oohh someone didn't come back to their dorm last night," Sirius teased smirking,
"What can I say, the ladies love me," Potter shrugged smirking back at him,
"Well who was it?" Peter asked eagerly, "I mean she must be special,"
"Special how?" Lily asked,
"No matter who James hooks up with, he never spends the night. It's like a rule of his," Remus stated casually as he flipped through a book he was reading, his eyes not even leaving the page.
He then looked at me anxiously for a brief moment before turning back to Peter,
I know it's not special, he was dying, but the way he looked at me worried me,
"Well let's just say we didn't sleep much, that's why," James winked,
Sirius, Peter, Mary, and even Marlene all hooted,
"Who's the lucky gal then?" Mary asked,
"More like unlucky," I mumbled,
Lily snickered from beside me,
"What was that?" Potter asked,
"Oh nothing-" I said
"-she said unlucky," Lily interrupted grinning. The whole table laughed,
"Well she is speaking from experience," Sirius joked. Everyone laughed and I rolled my eyes, slightly embarassed,
Potter looked at me as if daring me to say something else and I just winked at him and smirked,
