After that day in potions, Potter and I avoided each other like the plague. The only time I had to interact with him was during potions class. We don't pair on potions often, so it wasn't a huge issue. But when I asked Slughorn to switch, he said I could only if the students didn't mind. Suffice to say my friends enjoyed my misery because they refused to switch. I get they wanted to be with their significant other, but it left me with Potter. It was so bad, I even considered asking to switch to Severus, but that idea quickly died when I noticed how creepy he was getting.

It was honestly weird, he stopped trying to talk to me and now started to observe me from afar. Him and Regulus stared at me so much it even got Lily talking. She was glad that Severus moved on from ogling her to me, she even joked that he liked me now. I laughed at this. We did not even get close, and he was always obsessed with Lily, why on earth would he crush on me. But Lily said it was similar behavior which did freak me out a bit. It was well into September when I got fed up of all this staring and decided to confront them both. I first confronted Regulus in the common room. No one was really around so I walked up to him,

"What the fuck?" I asked them both,

"What?" he asked confused,

"I don't mean to sound full of myself, but you have been staring at me for the past few weeks, not even talking to me," I stated folding my arms across my chest,

"I don't stare at you, I just wat- I mean observ- you just come into my eyesight occasionally," Regulus stammered,

"Well Reg," I used his nickname in a sickly sweet tone, "We broke up ages ago, I don't want anything to do with you at all, ever! Stop staring at me, stop thinking about me, because you lost that right! I don't owe you anything and I don't want to catch you looking at me ever again! If I do you will be sorry you ever messed with me!" I threatened before storming off.

I found myself walking to the library. It usually calms me to be there, but once I entered I spotted Severus in the back corner,

"Guess I'm getting this all over in one day," I whispered to myself before walking up to Severus,

"Hey," I said abruptly, making him look up from his work. I was about to continue when I saw what he was working on,

"Oh hey Reigna," He replied, looking at me wide eyed. He tried to cover a paper but I already saw what was on it,

"Dark magic huh? You still into that?" I asked cautiously,

"Yeah," He responded shyly. We both bonded over our fascination with dark magic last year. I thought it was interesting, and important to understand- especially the counter jinxes because going up against death eaters, dark magic was their main tool,

"Looks interesting, what are you working on?" I asked casually, trying to figure up what he was up too,

"Oh nothing, there was this cool spell but I thought it needed some work," He responded,

"That's really cool- which one?" I asked sitting down next to him,

He pointed to a page and I saw his scribble 'Sectumsempra' in his potions book. Next to it had, 'for enemies' written on it,

"Oh and what does it do?" I asked. I had to be careful. Snape knew so many curses it was insane, but creating his own was a new level of dark magic I'm surprised he reached. I thought I should tread lightly just incase. His enemies could be me one day,

"Oh it's a simple curse, needs good accuracy," He said casually, avoiding my actual question. I did not want to push him too much so I asked another question,

"Did you create a counter curse for it?" I asked, "Every curse needs one," I joked, trying to lighten the mood,

"Oh not yet, I mean I would never use it you know- it's all theory," He rambled when he heard my concern, "But I don't think I'll create one," He added with a chilling smirk,
