A.N: T.W!! Physical Abuse/Child Abuse, you have been warned!
As soon as I travelled back and arrived in the fireplace in my living room, I saw my parents waiting for me with an irritated look on their faces. Mother had a hand on her hip and was tapping her foot impatiently while father just glared.
I smiled at them acting as if nothing was wrong, this, of course, only infuriated them more.
"NOT ONLY IS IT ENOUGH THAT YOU LIED, YOU WERE OUT WITH A MUDBLOOD, BUT NO, YOU ALSO HAD TO BE SEEN, AND BY NONE OTHER THAN THE BLACKS, IMAGINE OUR HORROR WHEN THEY TOLD US, WE THOUGHT THEY WERE LYING, NO WAY COULD MY DAUGHTER REIGNA DISHONOR OUR FAMILY LIKE THAT BUT EVEN REGULUS CONFIRMED IT AND THAT BOY NEVER LIES," mother shouted at me.
I held back an eye roll, mother was obsessed with Regulus, I think he was one of the boys she hoped to poach for my arranged marriage. Regulus was alright but at this moment that tattle-boy annoyed me.
I responded coolly, "I didn't lie, I went to get my school supplies as I said, and ran into a schoolmate who needed help getting her books, that's all,"
"SCHOOLMATE?" my father boomed, "YOU WERE FRATINIZING WITH FILTHY BLOOD, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TALKING TO HER IN THE FIRST PLACE,"
I sighed not wanting to have this fight again, knowing how it will end. I always argue that muggleborns are still wizards, whilst they gape at me in shock, claiming that my mind is polluted from Hogwarts and rat on Dumbledore, our headmaster, a bit. They insult Dumbledore and say how they do not understand how he lets muggleborns into school. I try to defend him, maybe open their mind up a bit, but it always ends the same. Mother whips out her wand and starts slashing me with it. Ever since they found out I was taking muggle studies they found that the usual yell and grounding was not changing my behavior, but what they don't know is that nothing ever will. Ever since then mother has oh so gratefully cut my legs. My upper thighs are littered with scars some fading, while others more prominent. They used to be calculated and even, but with time mom just enjoyed slashing randomly. I made a healing salve with magic at Hogwarts to help heal them so it was never too bad. I got used to it I guess
So instead of arguing back I stated strongly, "Alright lets get it on with,"
"On with what?" my mother hissed
"Well we all know how this goes, you lot yell at me, I try to argue back, then you whip out your wand slash slash," I stated simply, I then gestured to my legs, "C'mon mother, I just wanna skip ahead, I'm too tired to argue this time."
Mother glared but before she could speak father then spoke coldly, "Very well then," He nudged my mother to start and she took out her wand slowly but began.
Now I'd like to say that over time, the pain fades, but the pain was always the same, i think it had to do with it being a magical cut, not with a weapon. But my tolerance has increased, the first time this happened I passed out, over time I built enough tolerance so that I stayed awake the whole time, standing up for most of it. But suddenly a pain shot through my body, one that I never felt before. It was not just from my thighs, but from everywhere. Every centimeter of my body from my fingernails to my toes felt like it was breaking and reforming over and over again, I suddenly fell to the floor as I screamed in pain.
I tried to see what was happening and inched my head above the ground, I found my mother looking at my father, and as I followed her gaze to him I heard him mutter, "Crucio," Mother stopped for a moment before father glared at her and signaled for her to continue. And so it did, it was probably only a few minutes but it felt like hours. Mother still kept slashing me while father performed the cruciatus curse. The last thing I remember is thinking, "Bloody hell, they must really hate me now," before blacking out.
