Y/n knew she should've expected this. I mean how on earth could she not think that they would get away with they're halloween prank?
Y/n was the first to admit that dying everyone's food black hadn't been worth it in the least. She wished she had just stayed in bed like she had planned to and read a dumb book about dragons or something. That would've been so much better than cleaning up the entire Great Hall by hand(meaning absolutely no magic) just to see the hilarious looks on everyone's faces when it started raining black.
Oh! To top it all off too, they made it so the paint couldn't be washed off for a week! Which mean that when they were standing the hall and they too got rained on, they would also be subjected to their own paint.
"This kinda sucks, not gonna lie."
"You think? Why did we think this was a good idea?"
"To be fair, why do we think anything is a good idea? I mean we just kinda think 3 steps back and make it up as we go, amirite?" James said, while trying to figure out how on earth they were supposed to clean all this up in time to get any decent amount of sleep before classes.
"You know what? Fuck it." Y/n pulled out her wand, said a random cleaning spell and walked out of the room.
Walking back to the dorms, Y/n briefly thought about how she was going to get in more trouble for using magic, but hey, that was an issue for tomorrow morning Y/n, right now, Y/n had to finish her stupid potions essay and try to get at least a decent grade on it.

"You look like shit," Was the first thing Y/n heard when sitting down for breakfast.
"Why thank you, Sirius." Y/n grabbed her goblet of black coffee, downed it and added, "You're on your own for the potions essay."
"Wait, Y/n, please, just let me copy off of yours, I promise I'll make it up to you, please, I'll get you chocolate or something please."
"Nah it's cool, see you in class though," Y/n promptly stood up, and walked out of the room.
