You walked through the hallway and sighed. 

Halloween was exactly a week away and you had agreed to help with the marauders first big Halloween prank. You had no idea what they were planning, which is why you were going to this big meeting to find out what they had in store for you. 

Once you arrived at the empty classroom, you were greeted by Sirius, who was carrying a bag of something. Remus and James were already there, discussing the plans and what they would be doing. 

"Oh, hey Y/n," James said, looking up from the paper he and Remus were working on. 

"Soooooooooo. What's the plans? Is it on this paper or something?" You moved to look at the paper, but Remus had quickly shoved it away, before you got the chance to look at it. 

"Oh the p-paper? That's um... something else?" It almost sounded like a complete question. You looked over at Sirius for answers, but all he did was wink and smile, which confused you even more.  

"Okay? Then what's the plan? It better not be something stupid like dying all of the food black and orange," You laughed, remembering them dying all the food blue as a "sad" day. You watched as James looked over at Sirius and started laughing hysterically. 

"I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU THAT WAS A STUPID IDEA! Thank god we chose something else, instead of that shitty idea." 

"No offense, Sirius, but we need something more original, we already dyed the food blue this year for 'sad' day. It wouldn't be fun to do the same thing again, even if it was completely different colours." Remus stated. Sirius looked like a puppy that had just gotten his treat taken away by a squirrel. 

"Wait, Sirius, I think we could still add that into the prank, dye all of the food, and add bats to fly around plus a school wide food fight that we could start in the cafeteria, we'd just need to get a few of the first years from the other houses to help us start it. Oh! And we could enchant the knights by the doors to throw food, too!" Sirius smiled at that, but the other 2 had frozen in shock. "Unless, you guys had something else in mind that's better. I basically pulled that right out of my ass, so If it's not that great then we'll just do your guys' idea."

"No, it's great, bloody brilliant actually," James said.

"We were just going to make it rain black paint," Sirius admitted, sheepishly. 

"We could actually add that in. We could have the food be normal, but as soon as it starts raining black, all the food and drinks turn black!" You grinned. "Though we'd have to make the paint and dye non-toxic or edible to make sure no one gets sick or anything." 

"We could make some edible paint. I know how to from our last prank." Remus adds. "It would also save us a ton of  money."
