(Marauders era) Remus Lupin x depressed reader.

Hi! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I had a huge amount of writers block,(and an anxiety attack at lunch) but I have an idea now. Oh and btw there will be a little bit of fluff between Sirius/James and the reader,(I have a plan don't worry) but this is STILL a REMUS x reader.

"So, Y/n what are you going to be doing for Christmas?" Lily asked, while tying the end of her bracelet. Lily had decided that you were spending to much time around the boys, and needed more time with "people your own gender", so here you were in the Gryffindoor common room making bracelets. You had been clean for about 3 weeks and you were super proud.

"I'm probably gonna hang out at James' or Sirius' house." She frowned. 

"Why them? Why not your own?"

"Er- well- um-" You started, but got cut off.

"Y/n! There you are I've been looking for you for a while! Remus needs you in the library." Cassiopeia said walking into the room. 

"Now?" you asked.

"Yup!" She said and dragged you out of the room and into the hallway. Her long strawberry blonde her was waving, making you think she must have braided it before. She let out a sigh. 

"Good thing I got there when I did! I could tell you didn't want to talk about your dad." She smiled sweetly. 

"How did you know?" you asked. 

"Because I'm the same way. I'm actually an orphan. My mom was killed by my dad and soon after he killed himself because he couldn't cope with the pain," She explained.

"Oh."

"Well we should probably get you to Remus, so he can talk to you." And with that she dragged you over to the library, where Remus was sitting down reading a book.

When he saw you he smiled and set it down.

"So, where was she?" he asked. 

"With Lily in the common rooms." 

"Oh okay." He replied. "So, how is she?" 

"She seems pretty good, she was making friendship necklaces." You sighed and tapped your foot to suppress the growing anger. Why were they talking to you like you weren't even there. Couldn't they see you? 

"Do you think she needs help?" 

"Of course! She's not okay. She needs to be fixed." Remus nodded at this. 

After about 2 minutes of them talking about you, IN FRONT of you, you just got up and left. You decided you'd go find James or Sirius.  Maybe they could help. 

After walking around for 3 minutes you ran into someone and fell to the ground, dropping the book you had snatched from the Library. 

"Oh my god, I'm so sor-" You started but were cut off. 

"Sorry doesn't cut it! I'm already late for a study group and now you're making me more late!" You looked up. It was someone from Ravenclaw.(okay, I've decided I'm NOT going to make all of the bullies Slytherin. Slytherin isn't all bad and I'm not going to continue supporting the lie that there is no bullies in the other houses and only in Slytherin) "You ruin everything! God why don't you just die! And watch where you walk!" She then scoffed and walked away, and you saw her friends laugh and give you disapproving looks. 

You shakily pushed yourself off the ground and grabbed the book. You were shaking all over and your anxiety started to get really bad. It was like the feeling you get before you're going to ride on a scary rollercoaster or ride(if you need a reference). You quickly ran towards the common room, but bumped into another person and fell to butt, again. 

Instead of apologizing like you did last time, you just shakily pushed yourself against the wall, pulled your knees closer to yourself, and put your head down. After a few seconds passed, you felt someone sit next to you and wrap their arm around you. 

"You okay, Y/n?" A familiar voice asked. It was Sirius. He knew you were on the verge of a panic attack, after all he's had a few of them himself.

"N-No," You replied shakily. Sirius and James(he's there too) helped you stand up and walked you to the boys dorms. Sirius sat you down on what you assumed to be his or James' bed, and sat down next to you. James sat down on the bed in front of yours.

"You want to tell me what happened?" he asked, calmly. You nodded and started talking. 

"Well I-I was *hiccup*(you know like when you get super worked up and you can't talk coherently and you hiccup a lot?-Only me, okay.) making bracelets with Lily and Cassiopeia took me to see Remus, *hiccup* and they were *hiccup* talking about me in front of me, like I wasn't *hiccup* even there!*hiccup* a-and Cassiopeia said I need to " You were sobbing now. "Then I ran into this Ravenclaw girl and she *hiccup* yelled at me and s-said I always r-ruin everything and that I should *hiccup* just die! Then I r-r-ran into y-you." Sirius sighed, and wrapped his arms around you, letting you sob onto his shoulder and you wrapped your arms around him. 

Unbeknownst to you, James had asked with a look whether he should go get Remus. Sirius had nodded, but quietly told him to grab chocolates or something and wait to tell him to come, until you were either calmed down or asleep,.

"It's okay N/N. Remus was just being an asshole. You don't need to be fixed and you definitely don't ruin everything. You make lots of things better! And you don't deserve to die. Okay Y/n? Don't listen to them, their just being mean and stupid." You nodded, but continued to sob into his shoulder.

You sat there sobbing into his shoulder for about 30 minutes before you sobs slowly turned into soft whimpers and sniffles. You let go of Sirius and looked down at your hands.

"Thank you," You said quietly. You were truly thankful for that. You've had panic attacks before, though never quite this bad. You would normally just wait til you passed out from lack of air, or you somehow calmed yourself. 

"Of course! Why wouldn't I have helped?" He said and laughed a little bit before he turned serious and said, "You should get some sleep. I don't want you having another episode where I can't get to you to help, so I'm going to have you sleep on this bed, okay?" You normally would have argued that you'd be fine on your own, but you were too mentally exhausted to do that, so you just nodded. Sirius got up and you slid underneath the covers. 

You quickly slipped into sleep and Sirius left to go yell at Remus. 

A/N 

NO Sirius will NOT become a love interest he and James are more like a caring older brother or best friend. 

Also sorry for not posting earlier I had a an anxiety attack at lunch when I was going to. Bye!
