*Conners POV*
"How has my sweet boy been without me these days?" questioned my dad.
"I'm doing good. Where are you and June at right now?"
"We just checked Italy off the list and are getting ready to head to our next destination."
"And where would that be?" I asked before pulling on my shirt.
"We are going to–"
"Are you talking to Conner? I want to speak to him." Interrupted June making me shake my head.
"At this point you guys should just do rock paper scissors to see who talks to me." I suggested before walking to my bed and grabbing the blanket I had thrown on it earlier.
"It's just that we both miss you so much," expressed my dad before I heard something being said in the background "oh it seems our plane is boarding so we'll have to let you go whether we would like to or not."
"Don't worry we can always talk later after your flight." I suggested before grabbing howards harness and heading down stairs with my full arms.
"Alright we'll call you later. Bye love you. Be safe."
"Bye I love both of you. I hope to see you two soon." I said before hanging up the phone. Now I just have to dump these on the couch and wait. I wonder if we still have those peaches Veronica bought, let's go see. I think before going into the kitching and finding the bowl still full. This is a nice juicy peach.
"Can I have one?"
"WAHHH YOU SHOULD SAY SOMETHING OR AT LEAST MAKE A NOISE IF YOU'RE HERE." I screamed out clutching my chest to see if my heart was still in it.
"Oops I didn't know you'd be this jumpy this early in the morning." Commented Ambrose.
"Says the one who snuck into my house like a ninja and scared the crap out of me." I complained before throwing away the pit of the peach before making my way towards the living room. "What brings you here?"
"Lucy asked me to come over and babysit you and Jenny."
"We don't need a babysitter, we're old enough to take care of yourselves."
"Just think of it as a precaution considering what happened last weekend." explained Ambrose making me go slack jawed by the lack of trust my mom now has for me.
"Are you going to sulk now?" Ambrose asked as I flopped onto the couch letting Howard hop onto the seat next to me while Ambrose chose the other side of me.
"I'm not sulking."
"Of course you aren't, but what with all the blankets?"
"It's for a movie marathon with Jenny." I explained as i heard the sound of the door opening and closing followed by the sound of Jennys loud voice.
"CONNER WHAT'S THAT TRUCK DOING HERE?"
"Nice to see you too Jennifer."
"Meet our babysitter. Apparently my moms thinks we need one." I announced as I heard her footsteps draw near me.
"So, What are we going to watch?" asked Ambrose as Jenny made her way towards where I assumed the tv stuff was.
"I am planning on enlightening Conner, and I guess you too, to the greatness that is The Twilight Saga. When we're done he's gonna have to pick either Team Edward or Team Jacob. But when we get through all the movies we're also gonna have to go through all the books so that i can go and explain all the differences between the books and movies." explained Jenny making me slightly question my life choices of having made her my best friend.
