9. Jealously Hurts

*Ambrose POV*

•You guys better already be awake and ready to leave for school NOW OR ELSE IM LEAVING YOU• I mind linked to the guys as I walked out of my suite and to my car. I'll leave their asses here and let them drive themselves to school. I currently don't care about them right now. All I care about is getting to my aunts house and seeing my mate. Hoping into the car I see all the guys rushing out the door still looking half asleep. As they all pile into the back of the car I hear George out of breath begin to talk.

"Why are we... leaving so early?"

"Why are you so out of breath? Aren't you a werewolf?" I shot back at him as I began the short drive to my aunts house. I won't admit it to these guys but I am worried about Conner since he had what's her face hang out with him last night. Like why didn't he ask me to hang out with him. I was free. 

"Who's car is that?" I heard Andy say as I parked the car.

"I don't know, but i'm about to find out."

"Does that mean we can all get out of the car this time or are you gonna make us all stay in here?" Andrew said already taking off his belt. Stepping out I pulled my keys out and unlocked the front door throwing it open. Not waiting for the guys I rushed up the stair to Conners room. Standing in front of the door I try to listen for any movement in the room but can't hear anything. Holding my breath I lift my hand up to knock on the door twice before speaking. 

"Conner are you awake in there? We gotta go to school." Not hearing a response I slowly opened the door to a sight that makes my heart both break and enraged. My mate in bed with that girl, and the both of them just starting to wake up and untangle themselves from each other.

•I'm gonna kill her• I mind linked to the guys as I was about to step into the room until two sets of hands grabbed onto me. As I started to struggle in them I was dragged further into the hall way hearing George and Andy telling me to calm down and Andrews voice disappearing into Conners room and then the door closing. I try breaking out of their arms again but am just  held onto tighter. After a few seconds of continued struggle I just go limp In their arms seeing that they aren't gonna let me go. Taking some breaths I look back at them with a sad look in my eyes. "My mate?"

"Hey man are you good now? Yeah. We not gonna kill anyone now, right? No, so we're gonna let go of you now, but you gotta promise not do do anything rash."

"But... she's wearing his shirt."

"That doesn't mean anything. Here take this." Andy said grabbing something from his mate and then handing it to me.

"What is it?"

This time it was Andrew who spoke, "When I went in there to tell them to get ready I stole one of his dirty shirts from his hamper in the bathroom for you. Hopefully you can calm down a bit before they come out here." Holding the shirt out in front of me I cradle it to my face and take a whiff of it letting Conners scent engulf me. I lean against the wall as I start to instantly relax waiting for him and that girl to come out of the room. Thinking back to what I saw when I entered the room, I may have over reacted. I mean Conner was completely dressed unlike yesterday when I found him in nothing but his underwear. Now that was an amazing sight, and getting to just lay in his bed and stuff my face in his pillows was nice too. As I kept sniffing at his shirt I was pulled out of my fantasies by some one clearing their throat. Opening my eyes I see that girl standing in front of me. Feeling a little embarrassed at being caught by her I slowly put the shirt behind my back before slightly glaring at her. "Hello, you."

"Okay first off my name is Jenny not you. Second off I just wanted to let you know that I saw that look on your face when you opened the door. Man if looks could kill id be dead," Jenny said with a small chuckle. "Third, nothing happed between us, but I did take a shower and borrow some clothes."

"Why are you telling me all this?"

"Oh Ambrose I saw the way you looked at all lunch yesterday. Now i'm going to head downstairs and eat a quick breakfast and head off to school. I also expect Conner to come to class in one piece." Jenny finished off giving me a pat on my shoulder then heading down stairs. Pushing myself off the wall I walked into Conners room where he was still getting ready in the bathroom. Giving him a quick once over I see that he's dressed accordingly to the weather.

"I see you've actually checked the weather for today."

"Oh Ambrose, actually Jenny checked the weather so she could borrow some clothes for the day since she's going straight to school." Hearing that I froze slightly before walking into the bathroom to throw the shirt in my hand back into the hamper. Turning to him I see him start to fix up his hair.

"She's borrowing more clothes from you?"

"She told me that she couldn't be caught dead wearing the same clothes as yesterday so I just lent her some of mine. Besides she's eventually going to return my clothes so its fine."

"Sure she will. Anyway you almost ready because you still have to eat breakfast."

"Yeah I just have to put my shoes on really quick."

"I'll go get them for you just wait by the bed." I said going towards the closet and picking out some slip on vans for him. When I turn around I see Conner sitting on the bed petting Howards head. Walking over I give him his shoes and then head down stairs where we found all the guys plus Jenny raiding the kitchen like animals.

"You guys are kidding right? This isn't even your house."

"What are they doing?"

"Raiding your kitchen."

"Oh then can someone pass me something to eat I'm hungry."

"Ambrose catch this for Conner." Said George before throwing an apple and cracker at my head that I swiftly caught and gave to Conner. Receiving a small thank you I look around the kitchen at all the guys stuffing their faces with snacks from the pantry. Pigs. I thought before looking for Conner back pack to set it in the car since it was almost time to leave for school. After finding it by the front door I threw it over my shoulder and headed back into the kitchen where everyone still was.

"Are you guys done yet? We have to leave soon before it gets too late."

"You're no fun Ambrose." Said Andrew as he shoved one last Oreo in his mouth before him and the others shuffled out towards the cars. Huffing a little I waited until everyone made their way outside to lock up the house. After locking up I headed to the car since all the guys where waiting for me except for Conner who was talking to Jenny by her car about some class they were in. 

"Hey Conner what are you waiting for let's get going before we're late."

"I was actually gonna catch a ride with Jenny today since we have first period together."

"Oh okay then. Uh am I still going to be picking you up after school?" I asked handing him his bag reluctantly. 

"Yeah of course. I'll see you later then."

"Yeah later." I said as I watched him walk to the other side of Jenny's car and climb in with Howard. I stood there watching Jenny pull out of the drive way and in the direction of the school. Shaking my head a little I let my shoulders slump and walked towards my own car. Climbing into the car I lay my head on the steering wheel and take a few deep breaths. I'm taken out of my thoughts by Andys voice.

"Hey man I know you are feeling kind of down right now about everything, but we gotta ya know get to school soon. HA I mean even though you woke us up so early, you are gonna be the one to make us late. Ironic isn't it."

"Ya know i'm getting kind of you." Huffing at him I pulled out of the drive way and towards the school. Why do I feel like today is gonna be a long day.
