Ping–

Who the hell is texting me this early in the morning? I Think as I roll over in search of my phone that keeps going off every five seconds with texts, yet as I am about to grab it I hear a thunk from it hitting the floor. Opening my eyes I groan for having to leave my precious bed to look for my damn phone. Looking at screen I see its a mountain of texts from Veronica basically telling me to come over for dinner tonight with the boys for our prize and to meet her mates kid. I don't understand why she can't just send everything in one big text instead of 15 separate texts. I think as I start getting ready for school seeing as it was already time for me to get up. After mind-linking George, Andy, and Andrew about going to Veronicas after school I told them that they'd better be ready to leave in a couple minutes. I headed to the kitchen where my dad was waiting with a bagel as my breakfast. Saying a quick good morning and thank you i'm going out the door and heading to the front where the guys are waiting for me. Exchanging some quiet good mornings and a few yawns we are heading off to school.

The whole day was slow with all the teachers just beginning their actual lessons instead of the name games we were playing yesterday. Those name games were ridiculous in my opinion since most of us have known each other our whole lives because of the pack, and the human names were pretty easy to remember since it's a relatively small town and there are hardly any people moving into town. It wasn't long until the four of us were walking back to my car and depositing our bags in the trunk then heading over to Veronicas house. Making the short 10 minute drive to her house I notice that only Veronicas car was in the driveway. Seeing this I parked on the grass so we wouldn't have any trouble leaving later when we left. With the boys rushing out of the car and yelling hellos I see Veronica near the entrance of the house laughing at how Andy and George were trying to beat each other in the house. Getting out I walk over to her and Andrew as they watched dumb and dumber trying to both walk through the door at the same time.

"May I present to you the next second and third in command of the pack, Dumb and Dumber. Veronica how are you doing?" I say as Andy and George finally fall through the door and land on their faces. Turning to Veronica I grab her in a quick hug before going through the door and stepping over Andy and George as they grumble about how mean I supposedly am.

"I am doing great after some rest, but my question is who is dumb and who is dumber?" She jokes as they get off the floor and Andy walks over to Andrew who is trying hard not to laugh at his mate while George just pouts at her.

Clasping him on the back I give him a small grin while telling him, "Dumb," then pointing at Andy "Dumber." and laughing loudly when I hear Andy gasp and fake cry into Andrews arm at being called dumber. Once all of our laughter dies down Veronica is the first to speak.

"Well that was quite a show. Anyway I just finished prepping the meat for the burgers and I was just going to let them marinate for a while before cooking them, so in the mean time we can watch something on the tv. What do you guys say?" Nodding in agreement we all head to the living room to watch an episode of Criminal Minds before Veronicas phone goes off in the kitchen. Saying a quick excuse me she disappears then reappears with the phone in hand and a loving look on her face.

•Her mate• I mind link to the boys and receive a small mumble of agreement before listening in on her conversation.

"Hey Babe how's it going on your end? Thats really good. Over here is fine. Ambrose, George, Andy, and Andrew came over to eat since I promised them hamburgers for helping move Conners things yesterday. How long until you come home? Okay well I'll see you two later. Bye love you." Veronica babbles as she starts walking around the living room. She looks happy and I can't blame her. Veronica spent 15 years looking for her mate and has spent the last 5 years living with her, so it's nice to see her be this happy.
