*Conners POV*

"Ugh I think I'm gonna be sick again." I grumbled out before then being led back to the bathroom where we had spent most of the morning.

"Does this mean you'll never drink that much alcohol again Conner or would you still like to?" Asked mom before setting me in front of the toilet for what seems like the millionth time today.

"Mom, I don't think I'll even want to go to another party in general again."

"Well now that you've met Ralf I didn't think you'd want to and It's not like I was going to allow that either way. This really isn't the way I wanted you to meet the rest of Veronica's family either so great job there. They probably think you're some party kid who gets drunk all the time now. You are SO lucky you called Ambrose instead of me last night to get you or else you wouldn't be here right now." Ranted my mom while rubbing circles on my back as I began to empty my stomach once again.

"Who's Ralf?" I coughed out before feeling around the wall next to me for some toilet paper to wipe my mouth.

"Ralf is the sound you make when you throw up, so people say you're meeting Ralf after a night of drinking." Jenny stated giving me the toilet paper.

"Now Conner we are just waiting on you to hurry and take a shower since I don't want to be even further embarrassed by the two of you smelling like barf. " Ordered my mom while starting the shower up.

"Sorry it's not going to go according to plan for you." I said before motioning for her to help me up.

"Now do you want me to take you a shower like the old days or can you do it yourself?"

"I think I can do it by myself just tell me what's what so I don't put something I don't want in my hair." I muttered out before I stripped until I was in my underwear.

"This scares me." Jenny fearfully stated.

"What does?"

"Ambrose uses a 2-in-1 Shampoo and conditioner. Like what kind of monster uses a 2-in-1." She elaborated.

"The 2-in-1 is on the right hand side of the shower caddy while the soap is on the left hand side with the shower cloth. I also brought you some clothes from home to put on. They are on the counter right here for when you're done." said my mom before she and Jenny stepped out of the bathroom to give me some privacy.

"Got it." I mumbled out while stepping into the steady stream of water. I let my body relax and let the sweat fall off my body. As I scrub the 2-in-1 into my hair I begin trying to sort my thoughts. This is such a mess. I can't even believe I called Ambrose out of all people. I mean who calls their crush when drunk? Me apparently. Rinsing out my hair I grab the soap and begin to lather the wash cloth and start scrubbing my body.

But honestly I don't know how many times my heart can handle waking up with Ambrose in the same bed as me. Especially when both of us are practically naked. I mean he just feels so built and strong with all of his muscles like man. I wish I could actually see what it looks like with my own eyes and not just feel it indirectly and not just by chance. His hands are so big too like they just completely engulf mine, and then he smells SO good. I think shamelessly as I realized all of my fantasizing is making all the blood pool in a place I wouldn't have expected it to pool for a guy.

"What do I do about this?" I mumble out and keep letting my thoughts wander as I let the water cascade over me.

"With what Conner?"

"JESUS JENNY CAN'T YOU KNOCK OR SOMETHING?" I screeched out before covering myself.

"Stop screaming and hurry up. I just came to check to see if you were almost done or not. I didn't want to be out there without you considering how awkward it'll be." She commented as I tried turning off the water only for it to turn freezing cold and with it shrink my small friend making me.

"JEN help me turn this off its freezing." I yelped out before moving myself out of the stream and into the corner of the shower.

"You should have just said something before trying to do it yourself." She mumbled out, shutting the water off and then throwing the towel on me.

"Thanks."

"What would you do without me?"

"I guess I'd be stuck in that corner til someone else came to help, turn around or something. I don't want to give you a free show. Do you know if Ambrose has anything like gel or at least something close to it?"

"Yeah i think he has some in his room, i'll go get it while you finish getting dressed." She said while I began shuffling around the bathroom pulling my clothes on before using the towel to help dry off my hair.

"This man uses 2-in-1 but then has American Crew Pomade for his hair. Absolutely ridiculous. Do you want my help styling your hair?"

"Sure, I've only ever used gel. Do you want me to sit or keep standing?"

"You can just stand since we're basically the same height." Jenny claimed before getting to work on my forever rats nest called hair.

"Ouch, could you try to be careful."

"S'not my fault your curls get tangled easily, now that should do it so let's go out and meet your in-laws."

"M-my in-laws? But I'm not married to Ambrose..."

"Hey you're getting one step closer everyday." Jenny speculated before looping her arm around me and taking me into the bedroom where Howard was waiting for us. "Now let's not let them wait any longer than they already have. Your mom said something about everyone being out in the backyard. We're apparently having a bbq."

"Do I look okay?" I confessed.

"Dont worry too much, for now just please focus on walking down the stairs so you don't break a leg."

"Wow thank you sooooo much for that vote of confidence i feel so much better." I vented before focusing on our descent down the stairs while the sound of people chatting grew closer. Hopefully it's just my imagination that there are a lot of people and it's just Veronica's family that's just really loud. I think to myself as I feel a pit in my stomach form as the sound of talking grows with each step closer to the back yard.

"Well I think I should wish you luck."

"Why?" I questioned.

"You're gonna have a hell of a time trying to remember the names of all these people."

"Say sike right now."

"I wish i could, I wish i could, but hey look on the bright side there's no alcohol at this last minute party." She joked as she led me through the door to the deafening sound of people.
