A few days have passed since the mission and your encounter with Dr. Strange, you’re still filled with a lot of anger, resentment, and confusion. What Pietro said to you has been playing on your mind and you don’t know what to do about it.
You wake up, stretch, and decide to get a shower, changed and head downstairs to make a coffee and go for a walk.
You’ve got dressed in a pair of dark blue, ripped jeans, black ankle boots, a grey high neck top with your black leather jacket. As you head downstairs, you can hear a lot of voices the closer you get to the kitchen.
“Fancy meeting you here” a voice says behind you.
You quickly turn round at the familiarity of the voice.“You”, you say with a stern voice, looking wide eyed with shock, as Dr. Strange is currently stood in front of you, with a very smug smirk on his face.
“I see perception is a strong trait of yours. Good to know, since you know, you’re part of the team that helps protect this planet” Strange says sarcastically with his hands behind his back.
“Okay you two, let’s not do this. Not here and not now” Steve advises, as he places a hand on your shoulder for comfort. “Dr. Strange, Tony is waiting for you in the conference room, 2nd door on your right after the kitchen”.
“Thank you, Captain” he does a little salute. “Always a pleasure… you know I never did get your name” Strange says as he walks away.
“I’m aware, I’d like to keep it that way, for as long as possible. DOCTOR Strange” you say as you sarcastically tip your head to one side, with your arms crossed.
Next minute Pietro is stood next to you. “I do believe Steve told you Tony was waiting, have a good day Doctor” he stands just a little in front of you, with his hand reaching for yours as a sign of comfort.
Knowing that Pietro was there for your inevitable outburst of rage, Steve coughs “In fact Strange, I’ll take you, I should really be in there too. See you two later, don’t be late”.
“I’m with her, she can’t be late” Pietro says jokingly.
“Don’t worry Cap, I’ll be punctual” You say smiling, feeling a little calmer.“Ah good punctuality is another trait I can add, good to know you do have some competence” Strange says as he turns and follows Steve to the conference room.
You are stood gasping and turn to Pietro who looks a little scared and carries you outside in a flash, when he puts you down you let out all your anger, which triggers your powers. Causing a near natural disaster as you manipulate the winds, rain, dirt, leaves, anything loose to go crazy, causing a hurricane like event as you are screaming to the top of your lungs.
As you feel you have released everything you have been bottling since meeting that obnoxious, arrogant, and yet intriguing wizard, you are stood with your arms outstretched to your sides, taking short gasps of air.
“You good?” Pietro asks hesitantly.
“I’m good, thanks for getting me out of there to do that” You say breathless.
You then hunch yourself over trying to catch your breath, with your hands on your thighs.
“Wasn’t his idea, it was mine sweetie” a soft voice explained. “You really should not let men like him get to you, he isn’t worth it”.
You slowly look up, initially being blinded by the sun, as your eyes adjusted you saw Wanda stood in front of you with a wide smile on her face.
“I know, I know. How did you know?” You look up at her with a confused look, using your hand to shade your eyes from the sun.
Her hands and eyes start glowing red and then she points to her head. “Powers Y/N, come on you know this”. She smirks and crosses her arms.
You look at her and then at Pietro who is giving you a did you really just ask that look. You laugh, “quit judging me you two”. They laugh with you.
Pietro puts his arm over your shoulders, and you put an arm around the back of his waist “Come on clever clogs, let’s get you inside” and you turn and head back to the compound, chatting and laughing with the Maximoff twins.
