-6 years later-

You and Strange are living in New York, back in his old apartment for the time being as you need space from the compound, the Avengers need sleep and the sanctum wasn't available.

"Help me please?"

"Oh come on its one nappy Stephen" You laugh.

"I know that and it's near enough impossible without magic, which you banned for no apparent reason." He says frustrated.

"Stephen we have two children. You've done this before, stop trying to get off nappy duty day. You're not going to the park with JP. Bucky and Pietro have him."

You watch him pout and you can't help but laugh. "Oh baby, you know that's why we named him James Pietro Strange right? Because we trust them with our son. So let him have some fun with his uncles and you help me with our daughter, because this is the easy bit."

He looks up worried. And looks at you with a look that demands an explanation.

"Well you never know she might go out on a mission and some arrogant wizard will imply she's on a school trip and is gonna get in his way. So she'll end up kicking his ass and showing him how it's really done and you know a decade or so later she's got two kids, trying to convince said arrogant wizard that he needs to change the nappy whilst I sort the house." You smile, kiss him and go off to tidy up.

He contemplates what you've said for a minute and then shouts "I prefer the term... confident".

You laugh and after around 10 minutes you realise everything's quiet and you go back to see Strange lying on the floor next to the support cushion your daughter was lying in, both flat out.

You chuckle to yourself, you go to move the baby but Strange has his arm across her and she wasn't going to move. So you throw a blanket over them and leave them to rest, as you tidied up and waited for the boys to get back.

-a few years later-

You were back working in the compound. Your daughter Parker had a playdate with Morgan and you wanted to see Pepper.

"So do you come for me or Morgan?" Tony asks sceptically.

"I love my little sister and I love seeing Parker and her get on. But you'll always be my pops."

He smiles and squeezes your hand. You both watch as the girls play and then JP comes out of the shed with Harley, messing around with gadgets and technology that Tony showed them.

"Ahh here he is" Tony says as he directs your attention to the orange orbs.

"Dad!!!" JP shouts excited, which grabs the attention of Parker who goes running over to the portal.

As Strange walks through he's instantly met with a guy at his waist from JP and Parker running towards them. You watch as he picks up Parker and pulls JP close.

All wearing beaming smiles and giggling, he puts Parker down to race them to me. Once reaching the decking he slows down and plants a kiss to your head.

"Hello my sweetheart. Ready to go?"

"I am Doctor. Pops see you soon, dont forget you and Peter have that talk in JP's tech class"

"Already got my slideshow" He shouts, making you both laugh.

"Kids!" You shout as Strange gets the portal generated.

"Mum?" JP asks.

"What's up sweetie?" You ask, stroking his hair.

"How did you guys meet? Gramps and Grammy told us about how they met."

You look up and share a look and smile with Strange.

"Well it all started when I was very irrational with your mum" Strange starts off.

"What's that mean?" JP asks.

"It means that your dad was mean to me" you reply, teasing Strange but the gasp from Parker as she was on your hip sent you into a barrell of laughter.

As you walked through the portal, Strange goes onto explain how the two of you met. With the portal closing behind you all.

You lived happy, fully and adventurous lives. JP inherited your powers but got a love for technology, so combined the two, eventually opening a business with Harley & being involved with Morgan in Stark Industries and Parker took right after her father. In every way. Neurosurgeon until she came of age to join the Avengers... safe to say it was a while before anyone let her do a mission... 2 over protective uncles, 1 bad influence brother, a paranoid grandpa. And a father who took years to convince to even allow her IN the compound.

It was the happy ending you all begged for and it was everything you dreamed it would be.

Sometimes being irrational can be the best thing to happen to you.
