Emma walked carefully through the factory yard, the snow crunching under her boots. The young gardener clutched her toolkit to her chest, resting her chin on the lid. Coming back to this place was uncomfortable; it brought back difficult memories, memories that she didn't want to have. She remembered her mother leaving to be with another man. She remembered selling the family things to try and get money to go against the bankruptcy of a factory. But most of all, she remembered her father.. The father she no longer had.

Thwack. Someone across the map was being attacked: Emily. Emma's angel. She started to run towards the sound, stumbling across the uneven ground. The adrenaline pumped through her body. "Please don't hurt her!" She shouted out, but it was too late. Emily collapsed with one more hit.

Thinking fast, Emma skirted backwards and into the nearest chair. Surely, if the hunter couldn't get to this chair, the doctor would be able to escape. She worked fast, fumbling with her tools as she started destroying the rocket. The hunter was becoming closer; she could hear heavy footsteps crunching down on the ice. The sound of Emily's cries fueled the gardener's anger, and she worked feverishly until the chair broke completely.

Emily was able to escape, and she immediately grabbed a syringe, dashing off to hide away where the hunter wouldn't be able to see. Emma watched her go before quickly turning towards the hunter. There was something familiar about the person in front of her. He was huge, bloated, terrifying as he towered far above her small frame. His skin had gone grey; he was a monster. But something about the clothes he wore, and the way he looked at her in a way no hunter had ever done before. Gazing down, the girl saw a particular thing on her belt. "Daddy?"

The hunter dropped his weapon. The club clattered to the ground, rolled in the snow, and skidded to a stop at the base of the broken chair. Though he couldn't speak, his eyes showed clear recognition. He was Leo Beck, and the survivor standing in front of him was his precious daughter.

"Daddy!" Emma choked out, running over and clinging onto him. Leo didn't seem to know how to react at first. Living life as a hunter had changed him; he wasn't used to his daughter's kindness anymore. No, everyone around him was cruel. Still, his fatherly instincts slowly crept back in, and he wrapped his arms protectively around the girl in front of him. He didn't realize he was crying until the tears dripped onto her shoulder. It was his daughter.. The daughter he lost so long ago. He nearly forgot her, but there was that one word that brought the memories flying back: Daddy.

His household going bankrupt because of that twisted lawyer's plans. His wife leaving him. The loss of his daughter.. It was all so much. But now, he had what he needed the most. He had Lisa, and that was the best Christmas gift the hunter could have possibly asked for.
