The white and black keys are soft
And gentle
And they play the most beautiful sound on earth.
But when you have a piano
That hasn't been touched in years,
It does more damage than good.

Sounded so fluid three years later
Until I played that B flat.
I cringed and immediately let the note go
Then walked away
Because back then I had the mentality of
"what's the point of playing a song
If it just doesn't sound right?"
