Keiran was standing in front of the mirror, busy blow-drying his hair and continuously running his fingers through his hair. His excitement level was at its peak. It was finally the day he was waiting for so long.

On the other hand, Belle was standing in front of her closet. For the first time in her life, she wasn't satisfied with the dresses hanging inside the closet. After Drake's death, it was the first time she wished to buy a new dress or to look good while going out. She stayed still for few minutes, sighed, and started pulling out the clothes from the hanger.

*********
After mixing and matching the shirt and shirts and applying a bit of makeup, Belle looked at the clock. Keiran will be here in no time. She quickly wore the black wedges that were resting next to the door. As soon as she reached the last step of stairs, she saw her mother coming out of the kitchen. She was smiling brightly at her.

Elizabeth was aware of what happening in the house. She knew Belle was going with Keiran and she was beyond happy. She was happy about the fact that Belle has finally moved on and become a socialized person, but she decided not to say anything. She knew Belle too well. She becomes a little insensitive whenever Elizabeth brings the topic of moving on from the past.

"Keiran will drop me home, okay?"

Elizabeth nodded in reply.

They heard the doorbell ."I'll get it."

Belle knew it was Keiran. She checked the time and it was exactly 7:30 pm. A feeling of nervousness covered her body. Her heart was beating fast.

'It’s just a dinner, Belle'

She thought, trying to calm her nerves.

She finally reached the door. She unlocked and opened the door.

Her eyes grew a little wider when she saw him dressed so well, but she quickly recovered. Keiran was wearing a button up white shirt with black skinnies. His hair were nicely styled. He looked a mixture of formal and casual both.

When their eyes met, they smiled at each other. The nervousness and uneasy feeling Belle was having was gone as soon as she saw him. She felt normal, relaxed, and felt as if it was another normal day with Keiran.

Belle closed the door behind her. She was about to walk towards the car when Keiran stopped her.

"Wait a minute," Keiran said, narrowing his eyes at her.

"What?" Belle was puzzled.

Keiran’s finger moved to his chin and his eyes were fixed on Belle, analyzing her from head to toe.

She was wearing a black shirt with a medium length black pencil skirt. On top of the shirt she was wearing a short sparkly black jacket. The dressing was so unlike her, but the colors she chose was again reflecting her dark past and memories, something Keiran observed and wasn't too happy about it.

"Are you a crow or what? Let's add colors in your outfit."

Belle frowned at him but decided not to complain. Keiran pulled out something from his pocket.

It was a white rose. Belle didn't grab it from his hand, nor did he offer her to take it from his hand. He slowly moved the rose towards the left side of her chest, and gently stuck it to her shirt. As the height difference was huge between them, Keiran was bend down to look at her. Their faces were inches apart. They stayed still. The tension was increasing with the passage of time. Suddenly, Belle felt something soft on her bare neck.
