Belle was busy organizing her school supplies. She wanted everything to go smoothly on the first day of school.Belle's mind was stuck on Megan and Keiran and something inside her told her that Keiran and Megan's relationship ended badly. The thing that was bothering her the most was not knowing what really happened between the two, she was yearning to know how and why it ended so badly.

The day passed by quickly she helped her mother with at home. Read a random book she was checking her phone after every hour or two hoping to get a text from Keiran but she was didn't get any.

Finally after wasting her time here and there Belle was on her bed ready to sleep.She closed her eyes but after few second opened them quickly when her phone beeped.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow

She smiled reading the message from Keiran.

Meanwhile Keiran was sitting on his bed. His eyes fixed on the screen.He was waiting for Belle's reply.

After a minute or two he finally received a new message. He opened it quickly but pressed his lips together and made a disappointed face.

He was expecting a similar reply from her like 'I can't wait to see you too'. He didn't feel like replying to her text. He placed his phone on the side table and went straight to bed.

Belle had noticed that from the moment their school has started Keiran's behavior is a little odd.Keiran has become quieter than ever.He isn't his own self.Most of the times he's on his phone texting someone.She has never seen him this absorbed in his phone.He was more like a lets chat face to face person then all of a sudden became addicted to phone.

They were sitting in the cafeteria.Keiran was on his phone once again he looked lost in his phone.He was typing a text really fast.Belle was looking at him for the past five minute but he didn't seem to notice her.

'Who is he texting to?' Belle thought.

"You look busy?" Belle asked out of the blue, waiting for his reply.

Keiran looked up from the screen and quickly placed his phone on the table." Nah! I'm not."

"I don't think so." Belle replied folding her arms. She knew Keiran is hiding something.

Belle took his hand in hers and looked closely at him. "You can tell me if anything is wrong." Keiran nodded slowly and gave her a small smile.

"Can I drop you home today?"Keiran asked changing the topic.

Belle laughed "Can you read my mind? Mom called me today, told me she's busy so can't pick me up"

"Of course I can, Belle.Don't you know I'm your life saver, your energy saver and your firefighter." He said passing her an innocent smile.Belle felt something inside her stomach just as she heard him say that and she smiled shyly.

"Come on."Keiran said placing his arm around her shoulder as they were walking towards the car they were finally done with all the classes.The place was crowded with students, everyone getting ready to go home.

"What the hell is she doing here?"These words came out of his mouth in shock. He was just looking at the figure in disbelieve. Belle looked in his direction with a confused expression plastered her face.

Megan was standing near his car. Her face was smiling, as always and she waved at Keiran when their eyes met.

"Hello Keiran" She said approaching them. He didn't greet back. "What are you going here?"
